Surprised to see he's been called up even though he hasn't featured at club level in months. Says a lot about how they rate him over there and will be a good chance for him to get some game time under his belt and hopefully for us to sneak a wee peak at what he can offer.

Back in 87, when Scotland played England at hampden, Woods and Butcher were booed by the Scotland fans (as was Hately, a reported Rangers target at that time) but it was light hearted as most of the Scotland fans doing the booing were Rangers fans.

Now, any Rangers player playing for the other side seems to get much more vitriolic treatment from the Scotland 'fans'
