Evening Times front page headline - "Violent Thug On Drugs Attacked Homeless Man And Celtic Fan"

Someone gaming their search results by shoehorning one of the most popular search terms in Scotland into a headline. It's why Rangers and Celtic are often mentioned in headlines they have %^*& all to do with. Take two of the most well-searched terms and squeeze them in however you can.

The fact that one of the victims was a Celtic fans seems irrelevant - but it does fit it with their culture of relentless victimhood.

I would suggest than anyone conducting a violence assault for the purpose of stealing a used toothbrush is perhaps not the Professor Moriarty of Glasgow's underworld.

He is just partial to a brush with the law.
I hope he scrubbed up well for court with his finest green and grey.
His character definitely isn’t whiter than white.

Who the f88k edits that rag? The front page reads like a 14 year old on work experience pulled it together. The sub header at the foot of the page scarcely makes any sense. The urgency to get 'Celtic Fan' into the headline completely ruins any syntax which is surely a basic expectation for the front of a paper.

Every sentence you look at is a ham-fisted mess.

Absolute shambles. Another one to file under "They ruin everything they touch".

So we get the fixtures up and we get a story about Jones speeding or tailgating somebody, then a story about a guy who is homeless attacked with a celtic top on. The psychological warfare begins.. on repeat every year! Btw it serves the ones seeking to get into the mindset of the fans putting it up for all to see.

He is. An ex altar boy and sex attacker. A serial offender - Google him.

That looks like his brother named Christopher. This offender is just out of prison for attempted murder of a 16 year old when he was 19 , sentenced when 20.

Ex pupil of St Benedicts in Linwood.

No mention of the football team this genetic pollution happens to support ?

What about the homeless man, what team does he support?

Thats right, its totally irrelevant what team a victim supports. Shame of a paper

The Judge himself said it was a “monstrous“ attack, Yet he only jailed the scumbag for 14 months. This country is a fkn joke.

Maybe the same person that does the national by the looks of it.

By the way - the OP's original header was an unprovoked assault on the English language.

Early evening times front page headline about homeless guy attacked with celtc top on

I'll try and be a wee bit more articulate next time , just like yourself
