After seeing the thread about the Rangers banner at t'cricket, I thought it would be a laugh that when we win 55 that bears all over the country wrap a Rangers scarf around whatever statue of note is in their local town centre, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Sir Walter Raleigh etc.

About 3 months after the UEFA cup final in 2008 I was back in Manchester with Mrs Stone to see John Fogerty at the Manchester Apollo.
While having a stroll around Manchester city centre before the gig , I was showing my Mrs where the main fan zone was on the day of the game & there was a statue in the square which still had a Rangers scarf tied round its head.
