They can’t complete the Scottish cup because the season has ended and teams won’t have the same players so it must be null and voided

All guesswork here. I would say they will give a months break to players/transfer window. Back to training first week September and aim to start end of Sep/start October. League Cup May also be scrapped next season.

The Scottish cup will be played, but what if teams have signed new players before then, would they be eligible? And if not, what if some of the teams have released the majority of their previous players?

So the other three teams involved get to vote Hearts out the league, see their squad decimated and see all of Hearts future fixtures cancelled indefinitely......and then play them for a Scottish cup!??

How can Hearts even take players on to complete these fixtures it would be financially suicidal. If they know their season won't be starting aside from potentially a single fixture why would they retain and sign players on a wage they can sustain. Why would they take players off furlough or extend contracts.
