Given the shit storm of the last couple of weeks we can expect that this organisation will be highly motivated to put Rangers and their Fans in the dock(again).

Just as Liewell and Michael Nicholson have maneuvered themselves to the upper echelons of EUFA bureaucracy to promote Celtc's interests, so have our haters, almost exclusively, ensconced themselves in FARE to do the same by attacking Rangers and their fanbase. It would appear from recent actions and pronouncements their sole focus has been on us and they have adopted the Steve Clarke principal of selective hearing to anything from the stands of the team with whom they share an allegiance. The SMSM will, without doubt, from the evidence of recent days be only to happy to run with any negative agenda FARE set.

All of the above does not negate our responsibility to support The Rangers in a loud but positive manner tomorrow night. These occasions are always complicated by the fact that many who attend are not the usual Season Ticket holders and some tend to go beyond the excellent environment the ST holders have cultivated now for many seasons, as was witnessed at Ibrox for the recent OF game.

Stay safe and stay smart everyone and counsel the same from your fellow fans.

Serious question. Do they get given tickets by UEFA or are they sad enough to buy tickets for our matches?

Sing Rangers songs and others that celebrate our culture.

Don’t sing songs about a religion you may not be a fan of, the head of said religion, dead terrorists, or use any term that has been deemed to be offensive to followers of that religion or a country they claim to be from or have an affinity to.

I’m being deliberately vague here because there shouldn’t be a single Rangers fan who doesn’t know what does get us in trouble and what doesn’t.

This 100% . It’s not difficult to understand , but the “ we could sing kumbaya and they’d still come after us “brigade will still muddy the waters in order to keep seeing reason in feeding the Sands/Gallows/IRA/Pope Tourette’s obsessives among our number. We know full well FARE treat us differently but it’s simply not an excuse anymore

This x1000 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I really hope our fans are wise enough not to give our enemies the ammunition they crave. Follow Follow, Super Rangers and The Sash should not be sung tomorrow. These songs all have add odds which can get us into trouble with UEFA. We are being watched like a hawk and our enemies would love nothing more than our players coming out to an empty Ibrox on a European night. We've already had part of a stand closed and having to play a game behind closed doors could be the next punishment.

How hard is it to clean up our song sheet? We have been asking the same question for years, and we still have a great number that sing objectionable words, worse still they always claim they are the victims.

Its 2021, we are overdue to get ourselves in order, let’s just do it.

They have ways of interpreting songs we sing into some kind of sectarian anthem,It surprises us at what they think some of them mean,We could sing Humpty Dumpty and they see some sinister meaning in it.

I genuinely expect articles to have been written already and even if there is no singing which is deemed as offensive then they will just say it happened anyway.

We have so many good Rangers songs and non offensive cultural songs.

Don't give these <unts a chance to pounce on us. Tomorrow is going to be one of they nights you remember for a long way. Let's make sure it is for the right reasons.

Just imagine the amount of fines this mob would amass if they could actually progress in European competition.

It is because its fines constantly, but very strangely there isn't anything severe like a stand being shut or even half a stand.

A perfect example of what I’m taking about  . No we couldn’t
Whilst I agree with your general point I think you would have to concede that we’ve had bad press for singing
a) The bouncy. - spurious claims about the ditty
b) Penny Arcade - paramilitary fund raising lies
c) Sweet Caroline - well, there you go..
d) Four lads, which was wrongly identified as A naughty song about crop failure.

We’ve even been told The Hokey Cokey is sectarian.

Avoiding the controversial is obvious, who decides what is controversial and what makes it so is a little harder to fathom.

None of the above are proscribed by uefa , there’s no reason not to sing them whatsoever

There’s a massive difference between these songs “ annoying “ people who hate us but are completely innocent and fine , and singing about the Pope/IRA/Rifles/Pistols/19th Century Terrorists

There’s no excuse whatsoever for not being capable of understanding the difference

Ffs. BMG the latest sacrifice to be offered up to the haters? Why Davie 2021. Do you know it’s banned ? What is offensive about it ? Soon be onto the next one, then the next

We all know the songs/words that can get us into bother.

We all need to take some personal responsibility over our own actions.

Anyone singing/chanting these things at a Rangers games these days have no defence.
I personally change some lyrics :p

FARE attend other games, and punishments are issues to various teams, all of which is openly published online.

Why do we still have people convinced that FARE are just a 1 man band that only go to Rangers games, or that they hate us or treat us worse than other high risk teams?

Given a certain section of our fanbase can't help themselves when it comes to singing certain banned songs, it would be incredibly negligent for FARE (whose whole purpose is to report that behaviour) to not go to a game involving a team that has previous for singing banned songs.
