Very, very poor performance from Scotland. However, 3 points at least. Thank goodness that shockingly bad manager finally saw sense to put Patterson on.

He needs to focus on playing the best players. Stop his wee pals act, it's embarrassing. Which is generally what he specialises in, being embarrassing.
 
Dreadful stuff - Clarke just shows that a lucky manager goes a long way. That should have been a straightforward win tonight but we ended up fluking it.

They will after tonight, they will feel gutted, they played the better football.
 
Performance was like one of Rangers' this season and with a result sealed despite it.

Glad for the win but that was a right slog. Not sure those who expected a comfortable victory thought it would be so. Everything about this fixture looked like an awkward one. Even Denmark had issues with it.

It was, but it always was going to be.

I don’t think anyone realistically expected anything more than 2-0 maybe.

Regardless of their population, they’re not a joke. They’re not complete minnows like Andorra or something. They’ve always had the odd good result in their history

he's living on that credit of the England draw for years to be honest, same with McGregor with the goal against Croatia in the Euros

most people can see he's a dire manager but if you are winning games, the fans aren't going to turn on you and neither is the SFA. Even if the performance was abysmal
 
Changes should have been made much earlier (like before the game!), half time you could see it wasn't working. Great ball for the goal. Ref was a little card happy wasn't he, some bookings for hee haw. Denmark only won 1-0 there with a late goal, but I bet they shouldn't have been 3 down at the break. Papers over Clarks pish management again.

To be fair to Fraser he put in an excellent cross that McGinn should have scored with the header.
 
We've used up a lot of good fortune in the past two games. Hopefully we'll put in a better display to clinch a play-off spot in Moldova.

Great stuff from Patterson. Putting pressure on SG.
 
I do think scotland have the nucleus of a decent side but the manager will hold us back with his negative tactics. 2 up top and having a go we look decent but this 1 up no cohesion is just terrible
 
Patterson and McGregor are both potent attacking weapons for Scotland.
Bearing in mind this is a team that doesn't have decent forwards, it seemed to be a huge gamble to remove useful attacking outlets and replacing them with players who posed less danger.
Needless to say, a fairly toothless team was rendered even more toothless.

Clarke got out of jail on Saturday and tonight he got lucky again, but he really isn't very good.

Yeah and I bet they would have still won the group if they hadn't scored and they knew that.

The performance isn’t really important when you win.

I can give you a months notice now that Moldova away will be an equally grim slog, and we’ll also probably just about win it and the playoff will be ours.
 
Cant see what McTominay brings to the team.

If it was left to him Nathan would be missed out of every attack.

Do you think the Faroes viewed Denmark, who only won 1-0 against them too and got their goal in the 85th minute, an amateur side? Scotland weren’t at their best tonight, but three points all that matters.
