FC Lokomotiv Leipzig Sell 70,000 Tickets for an Imaginary Match.

Maybe like when you play Fifa you can computer generate the result rather than play the game, might be a way to complete all fixtures across the leagues, wouldn’t that be great Rangers win both old firm games and Celtic collapse giving us the title on the last day helicopter Sunday part two...

Seriously though e sports and virtual games might be a revenue stream for Clubs, like a football tournament online between the players and the fans can watch for a nominal fee or back players like the Clubs can run their own sports book taking it off the bookies - good for this Club thinking outside the box.

Not very original

Souvenir tickets for an Accrington Stanley FA Cup tie which will never happen sold out within 36 hours, the club has confirmed.

The League Two side missed out on hosting Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup after losing 2-0 to Yeovil in their second-round replay.

Despite this, Stanley said they were still producing 250 special-edition tickets, which have raised £5,000.

I was at the home game against Yeovil in the previous round so gave it a miss :D . If Matt Crooks hadn't missed a sitter then it could have been a real game

Great idea, Clubs are going to have to come up with inventive ways of making money at this time.

Good on them, I wonder if their nouveau riche neighbours will contribute to Lokomotiv's fund raising efforts?

Hansa Rostock fanscene called on everyone to buy from their online store, sold it out - 250,000 euros worth.

Feel for LOK a bit, decent chance of getting promoted.

Decent gesture and a bit of good publicity and exposure at the same time.

German clubs, inc players as well as supporters and ultras are doing some excellent work during this crisis.

that's excellent idea and well backed by fans, great to see. Have you a link to what the german fans are doing and clubs,

When the *** closed their stadium, Dynamo Dresden fans told the club to sell tickets anyway, they bought enough to fill the ground by 150% as a fück you to the beaks.
