Female Dundonian claims Rangers fans caused ankle break

Yes a Rangers fan with wallpaper like that in their living room Yeah right the lengths people go too to blame anything on big bad Rangers

We need proof, she said that people seen what happened, well come forward and back up her story, also isn't there cameras in the concourse's at Ibrox, plus we're just hearing about this now,I take it something happened at the shameless fc game two nights ago.

Classic diversion tactics away from the moon howlers, puddle drinkers and pervs.

Somebody shouted out Boo and she fell over a kerb not looking where she was going, hold the front page.

"We went through on a supporters’ bus so while I went away to the hospital Paige travelled home with the other fans who we have got to know throughout the years."

Goes.to all the Gers.games on a Dundee supporters bus

Clumsy scummy Dundee tink trying to add some credibility to her claim, before being told by Injury Lawyers 4 U that its her own fault she can't walk in a straight line and tripped

Deflect deflect deflect from the shellics embarrassment in Europe and the fact one of the 'greatest fans in the world' gets done for assault on a PLAYER!!!

It was outside the stadium, she's tripped on the kerb onto the roadway, just opposite the TO, the place was awash with cops and stewards. She was treated very quickly by paramedics.

A quick search into the journalist, John Jeffay, reveals he was involved with a website called sellthatstory.com (now defunct) which specialised in promoting press releases to newspapers and other media outlets so that they would run with a story. It doesn't take a great leap to figure out something similar has happened here. It's a shame that she broke her ankle, likewise that her daughter found it distressing, but trying to profit from it by lying in the press is vulgar behaviour.

There were lots of Dundee fans walking amongst the Rangers support and nobody gave two fcuks. So why would this woman be singled out?

I smell shite?

That is unbelievabe. Probably because it isn't true.
No, a Rangers fan did not break your ankle. You broke your ankle yes but a Rangers fan didn't do it.

She's saying she is a Rangers fan!
So she broke her own ankle! (Play on words by reporter to make Rangers bad)
She's alleging that she was rushing to avoid abuse from Rangers fans when she tripped.
Lot of rubbish, she's came out into big crowds, not being used to it, picks up her daughter and trips on kerb. Simples.

Imagine that!

Then you let your wee girl go home with people you know from a supporters bus.

Fantastic parenting skills there.

Utter bollox from start to finish.

WATP

What utter bullshit , cant believe this made it into a newspaper.

was half expecting it to be the fat bint with the gold primark jacket in the away end.

Ah the obligatory, "Celtic have had a bad night all round , quick make up some dirt on the huns and run it" story.

You could have set your watch by it after Tuesday's car crash

It probably did happen but not in the way the journo?? has printed it. We all know, to our detriment, the way a story is spun & in all likelihood there may have been a bit of banter between the fans, although that's the way i head when i leave the govan front & never heard or saw anything, and the IP wasn't looking & tripped over the kerb & fell.

I'd blame the reporter for the negative anti Rangers slant on this story.

This appears in the paper 5 days after the game but more importantly the day after a Celtic fan appears in court for invading the park and attacking a player..

I've been in the Aberdeen end at Ibrox and walked through our fans at the end of the game and nobody even looked near me.

File under pish me thinks.

Surely there will be cameras covering that area as well, just to see if she was getting verbally abused etc,I know she was attended to very quickly, point I'm making,is there any proof that she was getting heckled etc by Gers fans.?

Read it as this: The poor woman went into a panic when her child was being abused by the dirty rampaging huns. She picks her daughter up and is then pursued by pitchfork/torch wielding maniac Rangers fans. In her state of panic, she runs to the opposite end of the ground (copland rd end) and in sheer desperation, she throws herself and child down the stairs. In an attempt to escape these hordes of mindless Zombies, she manages to land in such a way that her daughter is relatively unharmed but the poor victim suffers a broken ankle.

This poor woman is now homeless and faces the prospect of also loosing her job due to those callous and unholy creatures who meander around Ibrox stadium (home to sevco) in gangs of blood thirsty neanderthals just waiting on lone females with children.

Or, she picks up daughter who panics due to large number of (mostly) men chanting and chit-chatting as they leave the ground after a descent victory. The women doesn't see the kerb and proceeds to trip over and fall. This results in her ankle being broken. Stewards and medics are quick to respond and the woman is taken to hospital.

However, in a little twist here. She allows her daughter to travel back to Dundee with a bunch of relative strangers! Mmmm

Its funny that anytime timmy has a howler of a week PR wise a news story just happens to appear about Rangers or Rangers fans thats difficult to prove or disprove. Timmy PR man getting his pals in the press to slide in a story to deflect from whats going on at the paedodome.

John Jeffay. Sounds like a (badly) made-up name. A very short career in 'journalism' beckons. Then straight into the SNP press machine.

I called some pish like this happening to my mate on Tuesday night after the bog trotter took to the field. Why wasn't this reported Saturday/Sunday?

Couples of Hibs fans were walking through the Rangers when we played them the other week and nobody battered an eye as well.

A total non story written in a way that even Stevie Wonder can see.

Absolute mince. Not a story at all, just drivel and negative crap naming Rangers in someone's misfortune. Could she be looking for compensation? How bad are these reporters and newspapers when they go with this tripe.

We walked past her after it happened the wee lassie was upset so was her mother, didn't see any Dundee fans round about just a couple of people helping not sure if they were medics, sure there may have been a cop as well.

Was she pushing an Asda trolly ?
Aw she's kipped up in her exs and on the couch

Right get a crowd fund going .she needs a few nights in a hotel .

So she falls breaks her ankle and is taken to hospital
Is there any word as to how this traumatised 8 year old made her way back to supporters bus on her own I'm smelling shite

Rangers fan with some nasty green wallpaper? Don't think so. Is Cascade news another name for the Sunday Sport?
