Feel so sorry for his family.
Too young to be taken by a horrible illness.
RIP our captain.
Got a link bud? There is an outstanding article in the athletic this morning written by Jordan Campbell - a must read
What day is it m8 ?
1pmI want to be there. Is there a rough time for the passing by at Ibrox?
Cheers
It will be a huge turnout, the full length of Edmiston drive will look like a match day.Wednesday, more details will be released by the club.
Will be a great turnout from us all undoubtedly
I will be there to pay my respects, going to be very emotional as the Hearse passes Ibrox.Feel a sense of pride/honor that as a Rangers fan the club touched Fernando's heart so much that he loved Rangers/Glasgow so much that his final resting place will be here and he will pass Ibrox
Very nice to read that mate.In the last few days of my dads life he asked me to take him to Ibrox one last time.
When dad left us and when dealing with the co-op I told them what he had asked for.
Not a problem,
When passing by the front door of our magnificent stadium the hearse came to a halt and the guy who was along with the driver got out and walked in front of our cortege.
Don't know to this day if Rangers had been told we were coming past, but staff etc were all out to watch the old man go by. It was unbelievable.
Will live with me forever.
Wife and myself will be at Ibrox on Wednesday.

The problem with that is.you would have to remove the scarfs etc to get the herse through the gates.I don’t think he should be taken past the main stand, wouldn’t it be great if he could be driven through the stadium? Both gates open don’t they?
True. Maybe they could be lifted and go with him? If it was me I would like that. The problem with that is.you would have to remove the scarfs etc to get the herse through the gates.
Is that Stan Gordon that owns the pub in Blantyre?
Is the tributes to Fernando still there? The problem with that is.you would have to remove the scarfs etc to get the herse through the gates.
Yes at both gates.lookng at a video last night and still a lot of people going to look at the tributes.personally I don’t think they should be moved till after the funeralIs the tributes to Fernando still there?
