Financial Doping

Since Rangers accounts came out the term "financial doping" is being banded about again. we shouldnt be signing players we can't afford. etc.

Last month, the same people said that no Rangers player would make their lineup. Their wage bill is still higher than ours by a decent amount.

Football games and trophies are won by players and coaches. Sport is 22 guys lining up against each other and the best team winning. They are always looking for ways to invalidate our successes. They really can't handle the competition and the fact is that their players were vastly overrated due the lack of a challenge in Scottish Football.

so in short, get it roon yees. 55 is coming whether you like it or not

Where are you seeing this OP, I’ve only heard fairly positive feedback on the accounts. There was the Price of football guy and Andy on Heart and Hand.

Rangers couldn't be more open as to what we are doing.

Our investors are investing in the club to accelerate growth.

We are not breaking any rules or acting any differently from hundreds of clubs throughout the world.

It's also worth noting that celtic's day to day loss is higher than ours.

Twitter really. usual zoomers, but they seem to have an organisation and process of spreading particular messages.

Be interesting to see if Desmond bails them out next year. Someone will have to or they are going to have to get shot of £30 million of wages or thereabouts. No way are they selling the same level of season tickets with or without stadia being allowed to open.

They sold a player to stop a £25m loss, the loss they will get next year will probably be higher as they’ve spent and they don’t have any kind of player at that kind of value. They beg Desmond to give them money to get a top manager, which is money they don’t have. They don’t do irony so they!

Day by day, week by week, they lose more money than we do.

take away player trading, Celtic would have lost £24.1m compared to our £15.9m.

By the time they realise all this it’ll be too late.

The longer they delude themselves think we are going out of business the better. I encourage you all to foster this mindset in all tarriers you are unfortunate enough to know.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Desmond decides to move on - do they have another rich Irish guy lined up?

They used to boast about Dermot bankrolling players like Robbie Keane etc. Remember, they used EBT’s, they used aggressive tax avoidance schemes (as did we) but this is conveniently missed from the media as it doesn’t fit the narrative.

The year in which the yahoo's got to the Uefa Cup final they ran at a £7,000,000 loss so by their logic had they won it that season it would have been by cheating?

Anyway my guess is you won't hear much about accounts from them next season considering they are on course for an absolutely huge £35 million plus loss this season.

Let's wait and see who puts thier hand in the pocket to cover that.

That was Tierney. Don’t forget that the year previously they had to sell Dembele and Armstrong to fill the gap caused by their failure to qualify for the CL Group stage. Watch for French Eddie, Ntcham and Christie going soon.

I would not bother dignifying a response to anyone making such a claim, just give then one of those looks should be enough.

Who cares what the mutants think. This is the same support, who were holding a candle lit vigil for the same manager they now want chased for being essentially 5pts behind in November.

Titles are, and always will be, won on the pitch. Anything else is just noise.

This nonsense will build and build the more they realise the league is slipping away from them.We have already had performance enhancing drugs, financial doping and number of penalties.By the new year they will be hiring private eyes to follow referees and by March they will be calling to void the league. Then when we are uncatchable it will be Armageddon. The world of football will have seen nothing like it and I can't wait.

You will struggle to find any club thats not loss making. Especially in the current climate. I don’t understand why people dont seem to get that there has been a slight period of loss but it is obviously in an effort to gain access to the champions league. We’ll be okay!

Danger Zone

Just the tip...
Another 55 post and it's November. This place will be an asylum if we don't win it this year.

It’s November, there’s a capacity for the lead to be cut to 5, during a pandemic where covid could ravage our squad at any time, and we’ve got a squad of players who have let self doubt and pressure get to them in January 2 seasons running (a test we’ve still to pass). I’d say it already feels like a bit of an asylum. Enjoy the lead and the brilliant form but borderline celebrating the title coming home now maybe isn’t the smartest move.

they used to have a share issue every other week under McCann

Don’t ya know, French Eddie will fetch £35m, he’s the French record under 21 goal scorer.

CFC have carried out financial doping for decades.
Decades of titles and cups that they won, from a false financial position.

Through their covering-up of paedophile abusers at their club, they have not been fined (nor penalised in any other manner, for example league demotion or indeed thrown out of the leagues entirely).
They have also been sponsored in that long time by several firms who would probably have thought twice about being associated with local child abusers.

Also, through that covering-up of paedophile abusers at their club, they have been able to attract a significant number of good footballers -- many of them being decent people who would undoubtedly never have been anywhere near them if the whole sordid truth had been widely known and publicised.

Through their vile actions, they have benefited.

For several decades.

They are going to be scrambling and clutching at straws at every turn. Their season isn't going too well so far and like Celtic fans usually do they need to vent and take it out on someone. Since Rangers is their entire life we can expect a lot of shit to be spread about our club. Our club just need to do the right things, like they are, and the mutants can have whatever level of meltdown suits them.

They've had a very, very easy life over the last few years and it is time that is stopped. Not only for Rangers to get their rightful place back at the top of Scottish football but it's time Celtic were taken down a peg or two for all the wrong doing they have done. Which is a pretty hefty list.

They should be more concerned about their dirty secrets coming out in the wash. When it does every bit of dirt on the worlds most despicable club will start to leak out. Everything from their financial doping to their using the fine print in the rules to get back into competitions after losing heavily. From their cover up of child abuse to their open support of terrorist groups. It'll all come out and the last f**king thing on their mind will be how the f**k we're paying for players (that the stated were shit only a few months ago).

'Financial doping' really is a laughable term. Invented by Arsene Wenger because he couldn't handle Mourinho handing his arse to him regularly

Plus they might have a good few payments for victims coming their way, or even better closed down a la Penn State, which would be really nice.

Complete and utter myth propagated by the media and tarriers. Everyone knows what this country did to us in 2012 was illegal and a complete scandal. We never dodged a penny of tax, it was only that some of the bills got out of hand. The tarriers get away with murder because of the governing bodies in this country. Anywhere else in the world and the crooks would be behind bars.
