On this occasion, if the fixture is reverted back to what has mostly been a post WW2 norm, it shows the authorities up for what they and the filth were all about last term.
As someone who bores everyone hither and yon about a lack of action from the club on just about everything, silence is golden this time around.

As someone that paid £500 last season for no games, and £500 a few weeks ago, I’d like to think the club were looking at the best interests for the fans being able to attend the biggest game on the fixture list

Because it’s likely come October, there will be a far better chance of full stadiums than if the game was in august or September

I said it’s curious that some people wouldn’t want us to give ourselves the opportunity to have as many people in attendance as possible.
That’s my opinion. I would like to be able to attend the match, and without “speaking for every season ticket holder”, I do suspect a lot will feel similar.
Hopefully it’s pushed back to allow as many ST holders as possible in.
Im confident we don’t need to play them early to gain advantage as we will smash them at any point this season

I suspect if you asked the players and management what they’d prefer though, they’d choose a full Ibrox

I would also but fully expect us to be the last county in the world to get back to the norm under that cow
Not enough, I feel, we are all agreed we’ll give them a cuffing but the main point is around fan attendance, hopefully common sense prevails but with this shower in givt I can see Glasgow in tier 3 again come mid July.

Opening the season with a harder set of away fixtures like Rangers have for years now is always going to be more difficult than playing harder away fixtures when your team is up and running so to speak a number of weeks into a season
New players gelling in new teammates new formations, new players not used to the speed of the game
Then you have the imbalance of the split as your team has already been to harder away grounds twice and will need to do so again
Rangers have had the dirty end of the stick now for years with these so called random fixtures
I look forward to the majority of home games this December/ January when our rivals are away on shitty pitches as that’s been the norm for us for years now
I don’t buy into the argument that we all need to go to these grounds sometime
Timing is everything and they’ve had it their own way for years now

Will Celtic get the reverse of our fixtures?
If so that would mean in the first round of fixtures that lot will be going to Ibrox, Easter Road, Tynecastle, Pittodrie, Fir Park and Livingston.
That’s not easy with a new manager whilst also trying to qualify for Europe.

Won’t matter when the game is tbh anybody thinking we will have a full Ibrox anytime soon hasn’t been paying attention. Scottish government have no intention of getting back to normal anytime soon.
No one is saying a full Ibrox but there has to be some fans in and the club must be lobbying for this now.

Sky will push for whenever is likely to have the biggest crowd, which i imagine would be the same as most season ticket holders. For that i would say as late as possible so fixture 11.
