Food within the Stadium

I got a fanta yesterday as i the dryest mouth after the pints i had

Was freezing cold for once lovely

Did no one read the email update from Rangers before the game yesterday?

Enjoy a new premium pie from award winning Piglets Pantry. Hand-made premium pies now available in:
  • Copland Front – Kiosk 3
  • East Enclosure – Kiosk 8
  • Broomloan Front – Kiosk 25
  • Sandy Jardine Front – Kiosk 34
  • Mobile Units – Main Stand Level 1
I wonder if the pies that you all got were from the above?
So Govan Rear discrimination. It’s a conspiracy I tell you. A m*ckey conspiracy!

The thing is sometimes you’ll eat just about anything if you’re hungry.

When you see what kind of food is available at other grounds in the UK and Europe what we have is really poor. A selection of pies is very 1980’s.

Here’s a few things from footyscran on Twitter.

Possibility because there only feeding 200 people

It’s true that pies coming from a local butcher should always be superior to what you get at large stadiums. Nod to John Lawson at Albyn Park.

But 67k at Murrayfield on 3 consecutive weekends last month, great choice, and the The Real Mackay Stovie Co must have made a fortune selling traditional Scottish food.

Of course, they’re not restricted to selling from tiny kiosks having created the West Fan Village and showing reruns of recent games on large screens.

Other than the screen hire I can’t see any cost to the organisers.

Maybe we’ll get something similar in time once Edmiston House and the Sports Bar are open and the club can spend some time on the rest of the space around the stadium.

Surely the Champions Wall is going to be part of further developments.
