I bought this old paper for the front page graphic.

It's very much a product of it's times.

I think it's also worth including a snippet of one off the paper's most popular items - the adventures of Jill, Jack and Julius.

Despite being the hero of the story the casual racism with which Julius is described is absolutely jaw-dropping. It's also worth pointing out that these stories were so popular they produced small books of J, J & J stories which were sold separately.

Lastly - a wee look at Bangor Reseves - I used to live in Bangor so I have a wee interest in the Seagulls.

That's some ripe old paper that's printed on there, fantastic piece of memorabilia, I can't really read see it too well at the moment on my mobile but I'll have a decent look at it on the laptop, thanks Mark
