McGarry, like so many of his counterparts fed and continues to feed the myth of 10. They laud a team for winning titles, 4 of them with no opposition, 1 where the only opposition were docked 10pts and 1 where they didn't win it but were awarded it.
Any journalist with a morsel of integrity would qualify these titles with a large dose of scepticisim but no, the myth of 10 must be fed. It is astonishing that not one of them has the guts to look at this situation with anything other than a fawning love for Celtic.

Leckie seems to think that all it takes is for ONE team to "strangle" the game or "shut up shop" for it all to be over and done with.
He simply doesn't realise that the OTHER team (especially when it's such a good side) doesn't always just stand back and allow that to happen.

As a "football" piece it's uneducated and quite incorrect.
 
Shouldn’t be surprised that most of the papers ratings only gave Balogun a 6 when he was clearly our best defender . Only one paper recognised this and gave him the 8 he deserved .

We have not been beat by a CL side home or away so far in our Europa campaign , not a slant the rags have taken I see

I get that Leckie is a Rangers hating troll with occasional bouts of something more sinister, but putting that aside he really knows absolutely %^*& all about the football he is paid to watch.
 
Bizarre reporting of our game. Extremely negative considering we drew with a top team in Europe who have spent millions on their squad. Unlike last time we did it with them having 11 men on the park too and being denied a stonewall penalty.

His ignorance of the game is mystifying when you consider that he gets paid to cover it and has been doing so for so long.
Who would pay to read such uninsightful trash?
 
Leckie states we are not a top team and we should know that ....top teams turn ugly and that's why they are top teams . Have you forgotten about the Braga game ya fuckin clown or are you just disappointed we didn't get beat
 
No mention of us missing two of our best midfield players, yet that's all they banged on about against the sheep how under strength they where.

Some of the headlines and ratings are bizarre, I didn't read the storries. Whilst the manner of the draws (both games) were frustrating, Benfica are the 4th highest spending club in the world and have an annual turnover of €300 mil. We done exceptionally well coming out of the double header with a better head to head. Typical of the SMSM to completely ignore that
 
i see they didn't mention that scum fc sit 46th out of the 48 teams in the europa league based on standings in the groups.
either they chose to ignore it or they are incapable of doing simple research.
 
I see the Daily Rhecord have us in second place in our group when we are actually top with the head to head with Benfica.

How can you get that wrong? Even the Daily fckn' Mail got it right.

I see in the stats in one of those that we didn't have one corner! Was I watching a different game? Plus the SMSM turn a tough game, against a very good team into a 'collapse' cos we lost two late goals. Yes we were pegged back in the end, but a collapse ... gimme a break.
