TRue they can. As one offs. But Bale has been scoring wonder goals for years. Some of his goals for spurs in his last season especially where incredible.

That's more to do with Owen hamstrings injuries. Bale hasn't had the same number and intensive injuries that basically stopped Owen from sprinting fully.

And Bale is more more than just pace.
