If this stat is true then it’s very worrying

Mark Warburton, 65.85%
Padro Caixinha, 53.85%
Graeme Murty, 62.07%
Stevie Gerrard , 52.27%

edit - stat is shit before your reply, @DocStone clears this up if you read the full thread

The majority of Warburton's games were in the Championship. In the top flight he never went on a winning run longer than 4 games.

Caixinha was only in charge for about 20 odd league games. Murty would've only been slightly more than that.

Pointless comparisons that proves nothing.

Stats from last season:

Played 59
Won: 32 (54.2%)
Drawn: 18 (30.5%)
Lost: 15.3%)
Goals for: 114 (1.9 per game)
Goals Against: 42 (0.7 per game)

This season so far:

Played: 47
Won: 34 (72.3%)
Drawn: 8 (17%)
Lost: 5 (10.6%)
Goals for: 105 (2.2 per game)
Goals against: 29 (0.6 per game)

Gerrards win record in the league over both seasons is just over 66%.

His win record in the domestic cups this season is 83.33%.

Let’s not start making up shite stats that include Gerrards euro games and Warburtons championship games to try and make things out to be worse than they are.

None of the other 3 diddies managed in Europe, nor would any of them have managed to qualify for it.

Win percentage in the league this season - 74%.(11-1% loss rate)

66.1% (league) over all (13.9% loss rate).

It's made up.

We are in the last 32 of the Europa and still ahead of any points total since we are back in the top flight.

Progress is continuing. Its just slower than we want it to be
Slower than we want it to be but probably faster than should have been realistic.

The truth as normal is probably somewhere in between. We need to improve but probably not as far along the rebuilding process as we thought.

Given the resources that SG has had at his disposal he has failed domestically and I really worry about the season ahead

Shows the progress that is being missed in amongst all the noise. Perhaps show to the players if they are low in confidence?

The less said about the Pedro and Murty era the better.

The stats in the OP are wrong.

Gerrard's overall win percentage is over 60% which, given it includes several unseeded Europa games, is actually really good.

I personally question the motives of the people making up these stats.

Yet again stuff is posted because it's on twitter. When will people actually check stuff out first before posting on here?

The problem is people then come on here read it and think it's true.

They are also so obviously wrong I can't believe anyone would even fall for it.

On what grounds?

If it's based on finances then we are exactly where we should be.

You can't say we should be ahead of everybody else due to what we spend and then ignore that another team spend more than us and use them winning everything as a stick to beat Gerrard with.

For a start, it isn’t true. He’s about 61%

need to consider also that Warburton has a season in the championship and neither manager has had Europe where we draw a lot and not necessarily bad.

his league win % is about 66% so best of all 4.

also loss % needs to be considered too. Gerrards will be lower than the lot

Thats the kind of perspective that will have to wait to tomorrow
Whether people like it or not persevere and patience will get us there in the end, said in a previous thread our points total thus far of 64 is higher than it was at same stage in our last 3 title winning seasons. It’s not us being bad, it’s fine margins, they’ve been clinical, refereeing decisions. Winter break came at the wrong time.
