Whilst doing some research I came across the following small article in the Motherwell Times dated 1 February 1952 which I thought might be of interest;
"Sons of Conquerors LOL No 162 held their annual supper and dance in the Orange Hall, Cathedral Street, Glasgow, Bro Rev James Hutchison, GC, presided.
Among the large attendance were two notable football players, Bros Billy Simpson, LOL 162 and Willie Findlay, LOL 712.
During an interval Bro Simpson presented to the lodge a football autograph by all members of Glasgow Rangers F.C."
