I'm not a fan of the flags at all, but you can't really compare flags made in China by someone earning £200 a month wages via AliBaba to someone making them here.

Also, just because they will make something that looks the same as the flags offered by the Louden, doesn't mean what you'll get is anywhere near the quality. I seem to remember a thread on here not long ago about the differences in jerseys made in Turkey to ones made in China, which had folk wanting to boycott the club because they were massively inferior. And that's just comparing to Turkey, not a bespoke service in the UK. On that point, what do you think the cost price is for a jersey to be made?

Kinda like Castore China merch versus Castore Turkey merch versus Castore Portugal merch??? :))

A friend of mine has a clothing company that does small runs of high quality, and ethical items. Sells a hoodie made using organic fabric milled in the UK, and made in the UK by people earning at least the living wage. It costs £110, and is hands down the best quality hoody I have ever worn, and haven't seen anything comparable anywhere else no matter the brand.

Now imagine I sent a photo of that hoodie to someone on AliExpress, how much do you think they would quote me for a run of 50 pieces? They'd look the same, maybe, but you really can't compare.

Just shite with our logo on them.

Your definitely under selling

The mugs look good

those that are saying this is a farce, it’s not a ink painted fabric flag you throw away after buying at a football game. It’s customised embroidered. I have looked at flag makers and for the size I wanted was quoted hundreds of pounds. Maybe before putting the boot in show where you can get the same standard of flag from at a much reduced price.

They’re okay mate. Copland Streetwear do good ones too. I got the Kris Boyd one recently and love it!

Hopefully you're correct and the screenshot of similar flags being made for £6/7 are'nt these ones at £55.

**To avoid any further confusion, this comes from the a Facebook page, not from me**

Just in, Rangers championship flag 2020 / 2021.
Flag size approx 9 x6 inches with the braid.
The flag is fully embroidered on royal blue cloth by a specialist company.
The flag is similar to the ones in the trophy room.
If you have been in the Louden, I supplied them with a full set of 54 flags plus this years.
Price is £35.00, buyer pays postage.

According to the tweet they only cost £3 to make though

Too late, mate.

Social media has decided the flags cost £3 to buy, design, embroider and post.

That’s now fact and will never change.

I personally don’t care how much they cost, or how much profit they’re making.

I wouldn’t spend that much on an A4 flag, but best of luck to anybody who does want to, and best of luck to the Louden in making what they can from it.

So a breakdown of the Louden's £55 price could be put as:

£35 for the banner
£4 1st class recorded postage
£7 VAT paid by the Louden on all sales
Total cost £46, which ties in exactly with the Louden's claim of "single digit profit"

Now, I wonder how many people will argue with your pricing of £35, or will people finally realise that good things made by people earning proper wages using the best materials available costs money?

Whooooa there.

This is nothing to do with me, and £35 is not MY pricing as you put it.

Harrogate Bluenose asked where they were available cheaper & I posted the info.

Apologies for the confusion, but your post says "If you have been in the Louden, I supplied them with a full set of 54 flags plus this years.".

Might be worth editing the posts to state that it's not infact you.

I provided a link to the Facebook post...

Where were they made ? Turkey or China ? At that price I’m assuming these are the pro flags ?
Correct. embroidered. Not ink print that someone says cost £3. FFS wish folk would use there brain matter before putting the boot into one of our own.
