From this day in 1994 - played on a the Friday night to allow Raith Rovers to win the Coca Cola Cup on the Sunday. This was Super's only league goal of the season.

I admit to thinking during that season that Ally was done, I juries had caught up with him.

Never suspected he had so many big goals and happy memories still to come.

McCoist was effectively done after that leg break in Portugal.

He still came back and scored some crucial goals, but was never able to stay fit enough to get a good run of games/goals in. Never hit the heights he was previously capable of.

He still had a decent return of goals to games after his leg break in all honesty.

1993-4 - 28/11
1994-5 - 9/1
1995-6 - 37/20
1996-7 - 37/20
1997-8 - 26/16

Fair point, I actually didn't realise he managed to bag 20 a season for two seasons there. Didn't seem like it at the time because he was in and out the side with various niggly injuries.

Peak McCoist was definetely the two seasons before the leg break.
