Goldson IMO is about where we're at at the moment. 30K a week is about right for a decent centre back but he's not starting every week for an EPL side. He's playing against League 1 or 2 standard strikers every week, and normally it's one up front. Our goals against in Europe is a better measure of how good our defence is. Sparta took us apart a few times and then an off form Arsenal demolished them!

Yeah, I mean, Duffy only has over a ton in the EPL...No chance Goldson could cope with the step up. None at all...
