Been sitting at work trying to think of one but couldn't.aye ,but sadly they were playing for that shower
Goldsons two goals I’ve never put a bet on, on my life, however I just wonder what odds you would have got on him for that score, I would have imagined they would have been similar to Leicester winning the EPL?Just thinking about our fantastic centre half and his double at the piggery. Has there been any other defender that's scored 2 goals in an old firm game?
There is probably a really obvious one I have forgotten but cant think of any others.
Chap actually posted his slip of Goldson two or moreGoldsons two goals I’ve never put a bet on, on my life, however I just wonder what odds you would have got on him for that score, I would have imagined they would have been similar to Leicester winning the EPL?
I genuinely can't think of any mate.Don’t think anything in the 90’s?
Albertz, if we count him as a left back? ;-)
Not sure, but Gough springs to mind for some reason. Might be mistaken.
I'd need to check this out.
One was 96/97 the other 97/98I think he had back to back singles?
96/97?
Header at the Copland with the raising the roof celebration, then a beautiful side foot finish in front of the mentally challengeds at Ibrox?
One was 96/97 the other 97/98
He was the first person I thought of mate who would be a shout.Sandy Jardine scored a few against them, but don't think he ever got 2 in the same game.
What odds did he get?Chap actually posted his slip of Goldson two or more
Albertz a left back? Might as well call Coisty a centre half.Don’t think anything in the 90’s?

Pity it took him 476 attempts to get it right.Guy in work always puts on our centre halves to score 2+ goals. 376/1 it was for the old firm game
Also the 2-2 with conductor Roberts in goals.Correct. He also scored in the Skol Cup Final '91
One of my earliest memories of rangersButcher, but at both ends.
Can't remember Cuellar ever scoring 2 in the same game?Cuellar had decent brace against a few teams

WhoooooooosssshhCan't remember Cuellar ever scoring 2 in the same game?
I had Goldson FGS and 3-0 on. 175/1(just checked).Goldsons two goals I’ve never put a bet on, on my life, however I just wonder what odds you would have got on him for that score, I would have imagined they would have been similar to Leicester winning the EPL?

See post above yoursHad a look back as far as first world war and couldn't find any (didn't check war years). Cammy Fraser got a brace (in the 4-4 game) but he wasn't playing in defence at that time.
Odds on Goldson getting two would have been no where near the 5000/1 Leicester started at that season.Goldsons two goals I’ve never put a bet on, on my life, however I just wonder what odds you would have got on him for that score, I would have imagined they would have been similar to Leicester winning the EPL?
Richard Gough..2 headers many moons ago I think?Just thinking about our fantastic centre half and his double at the piggery. Has there been any other defender that's scored 2 goals in an old firm game?

We have a winner.George Young scored two in the 8-1 game.
He was signed as a midfielder. He did fill in at left back though.Albertz was signed as a left back, tbf.
My father was a bookie! and I’ve never gambled in my life, that’s why I haven’t a clue on odds!Odds on Goldson getting two would have been no where near the 5000/1 Leicester started at that season.
Defenders score quite regularly from set pieces, so I'd imagine for him to get a brace would have been somewhere in the 150 - 200/1 range.
