Got to love wee Alfie

That’s actually horrific that an athlete is being made to train in those conditions. Looks like a prison yard man.

he could easily be isolating at home. Governments should be ashamed of themselves.
Surely he should have been able to go to the training ground outside working hours on his own in a car without contact with others then back to the hotel fir a shower

How many pitches have we got at the training ground? Surely if he comes in his own car dressed for training and doesn’t go into the actual training centre just straight to and from the pitch he should be still considered isolating.

I'd love him a lot more if he'd got his arse back here a bit sooner. With Roofe's suspension it would have been nice to have him available tonight.

Isolation is a lot of nonsense, but whilst rules are in play the argument would be, what if he has a car accident on the way to the training centre - would end up in contact with public / emergency services

He should be fucking praised for that.

Alot of people on here would let you think Alfie was a lazy bastard who'll turn up to training unfit.

He could easily have sat in his room doing nothing.

OK he's a pro footballer probably what he should be doing but it's another example of him having the right attitude.

Utter rubbish.

He has had 2 weeks off.

How many weeks do you take off at your work?

so he isn't entitled to his holidays and it was his fault Colombia went further in the Copa America?!
Don't waste your time mate. I have heard loads of them come out with that claptrap.
They don't have a clue how managers manage players and use certain situations to motivate them.
Walter Smith used similar with our Italian lads at times and it worked to the clubs advantage.

The type of people suggesting Alfie should have been back earlier probably do not even know 1) his was away as part of the Colombia squad 2) a period of isolation is mandatory upon return from Colombia
