Great Escaper Jack Harrison was Glasgow teacher

I had the pleasure of meeting Jack at Erskine when the RSEA put on a wee show down there many years ago. Think he signed a bottle of whisky!

He said he wasn't one of the planned escapers but as the night went on more and more people got called into the escape hut and he was in there when the alarm went up. Some guy and what a gentleman!

My mum helps raise funds for Erskine on Bute and some years ago when presenting a cheque met up with Jack. I have a photo somewhere of my daughter who was a toddler at the time meeting Jack.
I had pleasure of meeting Jack when he lived on Bute whilst I worked as a postie. An absolute gent.
