Greg Stewart deal close. Hastie and Souttar could follow

If the forum had existed back then, some of our fans would have moaned about signing Laudrup.
Theres a bit of a gap between signing a guy who played for Bayern, Fiorentina and Milan and signing a guy who struggled for Birmingham and Aberdeen. Some folk are excessively negative but there's nothing wrong with expressing doubts at times. Personally I find the Stewart signing mystifying

Greg Stewart has had two loan spells at Aberdeen
Greg Stewart has agreed a move to Rangers after being released by Birmingham, Sky Sports News understands.
The 29-year-old forward has been on loan at Aberdeen since January, but was left out of their squad to play Hibernian on Sunday.
He will join Rangers on a free transfer after being told by Birmingham his contract would not be renewed when it expires this summer.
Stewart spent the first half of the season on loan at Kilmarnock and has scored ten goals in 36 matches in total this season.
He was signed by Birmingham from Dundee in 2016 but has struggled to make the grade at St Andrew's, regularly being sent out on loan and failing to score in 22 games for the club.
Rangers have already agreed the signings of Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones, Motherwell winger Jake Hastie and Southampton midfielder Steven Davis ahead of the new campaign.

3 signings that will ensure the race for 2nd will be tight!!

Need better that that

We need to remember the bheasts will spend big this summer and they are likely to get higher quality than we can get. However David Turnbull world be a very good signing if we could get him.

As per previous posts- a bit under-whelming - especially considering sciatica - which is pretty difficult to cure - can't get in a dolly side who despite taking far too many points & cup exits off us - are still $hite
I'd love to be proved wrong but don't think I will be somehow

Kamara wasn’t getting a game for bottom of the table Dundee so that logic is pish

You got to also remember that any player that's got access to the internet won't touch that club with a bargepole unless they are one of their own

Money talks. As long as they are paying decent wages, players will sign for them.

No they won’t they need to cost cut due to wage bill and will also be about to lose millions in not only compensation but also money from sponsors will be down

Well that was a disappointing way to end the season after the joy of last weekend. A really poor display.

Aye spend big on the victims of their abuse.

People said they'd spend big in January when we were level on points but they only got in a few loans and scraped over the line.

If they weren't willing to spend big money then, especially when we got Davis and Defoe in, why would they now?

Their wage bill is still a big issue for them - they do have players going but they'll need to do their business in the summer whilst reducing their wage bill, especially if they don't get Champions League football again.

Which sponsors have said they are deserting them? Their income to Dec 2018 was down but they still made a profit and have £38M in the bank. If they qualify for the CL this year they’ll be almost out of sight financially. Only good point for us is they will likely have to pay some compo.

We still have high earners on the books bleeding us dry who we need rid of too.
U on wrong thread ??

U lost ?
