I had wondered if they were maybe planning something for the Bears over at the Louden. It was well known that the pub was opening its beer garden and given the significance of the date I would not have been surprised if they had had something in mind for the Bears who were celebrating the day.

My daughter was in Queen’s Park on Sunday afternoon and came home saying there was a ‘procession‘ of celtic fans. sound like maybe the arranged some kind of gathering and police have tried to move them on and it’s kicked off.

cant quite see why anyone would think it’s a good idea to jump about like fannies in a public park with families and kids about on a Sunday afternoon.

And the media are completely silent. Most covered the event itself. and the police response, coudn't miss it. A few mentioned later about three being charged. None have mentioned the court hearing, what the charges are and mind booggingly,who was involved. Doesn't look like the BBC interestingly have covered it at all if their web site is anything to go by, as if they knew from the outset just to ignore the whole event.

Now if these charges are correct then the absence of reporting, given how vile, topical (due to Covid), and how dangerous this sort of behaviour is to all of us in the city, is frankly disgusting. The only conclusion any fair minded person can come to is that who is involved makes this story, somehow, a non event. If this were anyne else they would be having a field day. So the question is, why are they not? I would love someone from the media (especially the BBC) to explain this.

Mate I wish it were that simple. But it seems much more sinister and organised than that.

We need to be careful with just 'Hollicoming' everything because that minimizes the true level of propaganda at work here and allows the true culprits to continue unopposed.

Is it not just as simple as the suspects being charged and the case is therefor sub-judice and can no longer be reported?

The press report on people being up in court all the time, it's pretty standard. They mention the crime, what the charges are, what the sex and age of the accused is, whether they were remanded or bailed, how they pleaded, where they appeared. Now I'm no expert so I'm not sure when they can release their actual identity but that happens often too. And besides any restriction doesn't extend to any group they may have been a part of while committing the alleged offence. They can be named.

In fact here's something similar from a few days ago and they even name them.

They're treated with kids gloves by most of their cheer leading politicians and protected by the vermin of the Scottish media.

Seriously, can you imagine the outcry by all the usual suspects if this potentially serious incident in unprecedented times had been organised by Rangers supporters.
As I've said on many occasions this wee country gets more sinister by the day.

I worked beside James Kelly long before he became a politician and any time you spoke to him it was always Cellik this and Cellik that and Cellik the next thing. This I’m sure, will come as a huge surprise to everyone on here! :))

They frequent The Queen's Park Cafe Pub and probably nowadays all the pubs in the area are contaminated with them except the New Regent , but i'm a long time away from the area .
 
I would severely doubt there's jail time coming for them unless they have previous. Especially in the current climate.

Community payback orders and/or restriction of liberty orders seem most likely.
 
They'd be hanging about waiting for the polis to give them an escort back to the Gallowgate ......daft wee boys
