Haaland - goals to minutes ratio

I can't understand why Man Utd didn't go for him, even with the sell on clause in his contract. He'd have been a massive improvement for them.

If Dortmund could hold on to sancho, Brandt and haaland for a couple of years they would have comfortably the best front 3 in the world. Shame for them that all 3 will probably be sold within 18 months

What a player this young lads going to be. Pace power and always seems to be in the right place and the right time.

Spot on, but they will make a shit load of cash in the process. It’s a pity though as it would be good to see some new teams challenging at the top end of European football.

He's a top player in the making and come out of relatively nothing. I don't remember much hype about him before last year!

He was highly rated when he was at Molde. Man utd and the likes were allegedly interested, he was playing for Molde when he was 16 and scoring regularly when he was 17.

When he scored 9 in an under Norway under 20's game more people started taking about him.

Seems a handful the big fella and knows where the net is.

Considering the utterly farcical deals they’ve done previously it does seem strange Man U never saw it through for him.

Absolutely. Was listening to a podcast earlier on and they were laughing at Man Utd trying to paint themselves as some sort of football moral guardian by refusing to bow to Raiola's demands.

They paid the same guy allegedly €40m commission for the Pogba deal.
They paid 40 million to an agent..did that include the transfer fee

Surely Man Utd if they back themselves as one of the world's biggest teams should have signed him and convinced him to sign a new deal without a clause. They are talking £30m for Bellingham and looking at Ighalo FFS

On a side note, Minamino who just went to Liverpool looks a bit special too.
Everyone complains about Red Bull’s involvement in Salzburg, but they’re a totally self sustaining team now, with no money from the company because of their scouting and youth team.

Mane, Minamino, Haaland, Lazaro at Newcastle (debut at 16 for RB), Schlager at Wolfsburg. All through Salzburg. Pretty impressively run club, even if the fan base is pathetic.

On a completely different note the atmosphere looks amazing at Dortmund. Constant singing and not an empty seat
They do it the right in Germany would much prefer full grounds for atmosphere than hugely expensive season tickets .Season ticket at Dortmund is £185 that includes all league and cup games . If I remember think European games are about £15 .They also are strong believers in huge standing areas .
Compare that to the cheapest ticket in England West Ham i think£350 and they get huge sky money

The 2nd finish with the tight angle was ridiculous.

When strikers don't get in their own head too much and just play with confidence it reminds me of Rooney when he was first on the scene. Didn't seem to have a care in the world, in a good way, and it improved his game big time. Rattling in goals from all angles like it was nothing.

Just watched the highlights , wow, the first one he was moving before the Dortmund player shot second what an angle to score from!

Certainly makes the matches at Hampden look a bit more appealing with him featuring for Norway if they qualify.

Have shares in him in the Football Index, so great news.

Still absolutely hate that particular agent and the amount of power he seems to have with these transfers

Haaland v Lewandoski should be a good goal scoring competition next year

Can’t believe he only went for £20M. Man Utd missed a big fish there. His value will only skyrocket.

Signing of the window. Might just be enough for Dortmund to win the Bundesliga. He’s a total game changer for them.

He has a €50m release clause. He won't be there long at this rate.

Fingers crossed he pull a a hammy in March and can't play against Scotland if they qualify.

Another one to add to the list of players I first heard about via football manager. Their stat people have certainly picked out a few gems over the years.

Very decent start from him, thought some of his goals last week were actually poor defending right enough.

Had no idea about that and usually quite up to date with players around Europe! Cheers.

He’s the ultimate striker. Pace, power and a natural goal scorer. The way he tucks the ball away with ease makes it look like he’s played the game for 100 years.

No idea who he’ll go to after Dortmund but assuming he keeps this up, his next side will be forking out £100m plus.

Genuine ballon dor winner in the making.
