Haven't seen or heard much by or about Spiers for a while, so let's relive a highlight

Just finished reading the thread on Scott Mullen, then came on to this one.

One is a senior journalist for BBC Sport Scotland and the former Head of Sport of The Herald, Sunday Herald & Evening Times.

The other is Graham Spiers.

It is actually alarming the quality of "journalism" in Scotland. On every aspect. From Spiers, English, Haggerty and lot of others beside. It is actually staggering.

FFS, let's not obsess about past nonsense from that moron, especially over crap that he's spouted that's already been done to death on here.
FF has already prolonged this untalented prick's career by making him seem relevant.
Let's just forget him instead while the going's good.

Indeed. Just taken a look at the thread on Leckie and it confirms what you say. How can so many get it so wrong so many times and still keep their job?

How do you go from being taken to Ibrox as a boy, like so many of us were, to being a hate filled maggot, and apologist for the most loathsome members of our society?

Did he ever play for a separate entity?

Are you kidding? The pinnacle of Spiers sporting career was probably beating his Mum at chess.
Absolute whalloper who used to enjoy writing about dates eating succulent lamb with Sir Flim Flam.
Wanker.

Like all 'late in life' converts, Smears adopts the attitude of a zealot.

A former Rangers fan, he certainly couldn't be described as one when he fell out with David Murray by implying Murray was shagging around when engaged.

After that, there was a long, slow but inexorable slide into full-blown Yahoo

He fell out with Murray after he disclosed the content of confidential off the record comments Murray had made. He was one of Kevin McKenna's teaboys long before then.

Not like Spiers to hide his true feelings, the pseudo intellectual, self moralistic and fantasically blinkered buffoon that he is. Is he still investing in the corduroy and leather elbow patch markets?

I highly doubt Spiers was ever a Rangers fan.

Who is this Britney person of which you speak?
i certainly have better things to do than waste my breath on such an apparently sub-human piece if dung.

It doesn't matter whether SG is a rookie manager.

In all probability it doesn't matter that last season was a wash out. (Well, it fecked with my karma)

What matters is the points earned and learned this season thus far. - The filth I'm sure were not thinking about toe-to-toe at this stage?

What we have in the locker right now, is that we are learning, learning and still learning.

Meanwhile that shower of sh1te are howling at the moon and thinking a European trophy is now a possibility.

Let's take that peg off them.

Game by game.

Did he actually go to Ibrox as a boy.

Perhaps he's been abducted by aliens , if anyone deserves a thorough anal probing , it's him !

To be fair to Spears. He is currently up to his knees in an in depth investigation into child rape at the club of paedophiles, in the East End of Glasgow. He is determined to ensure that club will be closed down and thrown out of World Football. We will be grateful to him in the end...…..

"Fergie! Wake up. You've slept in for work!"

You'd be wrong.

His adoption of archetypal Yahoo behaviour - lies, smears and self-serving propaganda - shows he eventually found his natural home.

Or . . . his assertion to having been a regular at Ibrox (“forty times a season”) was only designed to validate his bias towards us when later adopting the whiffy guise of Yahoo shill.

No.

It's not helpful to deny objective facts if they're inconvenient to our preferred narrative.

He's a jump the dyke, traitorous slug who is a useful idiot for the Yahoos.

The guy knows nothing about football like most of the ‘sports journalists’ in Scotland.
