There is more emotion in football, hence more potential for trouble! In saying that if you go to most overseas football grounds or American sports events it is an all day event, with BBQ's, drink, parties, etc.. The Scottish football experience is mainly arriving 10 mins before the game starts then fecking off before the game ends if the result is secured! Queuing for 20 mins for a microwaved pie, and a watered down bovril. Food is sh*te and overpriced and the general experience could be vastly improved by looking towards Germany or America for how to host a sporting eventConcerts, Rugby, Cinema, just about any social event really. It’s mental you can’t buy a pint at the football
If there was a concerted effort to make the match day experience more pleasurable with reasonably priced food and drink then the drink ban would surely be rescinded and this would then stop the rockets getting out their nut swallowing a bottle of Buckie before the game and making a tit of themselves
