In a lake. But can he do it on a cold night in Liege?
And playing with an injury? In a lake.
He filummed itI've got that on video!
Wet night surely? But can he do it on a cold night in Liege?
Amazing view manGreat camera angle, would watch again.
Its always seemed weird these folks recording games on their phones. Do they not realize being filmed in HD in multiple far superior camera angles. WeirdosI've got that on video!
Great camera angle, would watch again.
Neil McCann is turning into a right wee wanker.FF's new favourite villain, Neil McCann, says he can't remember seeing a goal as good as that before. He even quotes Roofe's goal but dismisses it in favour of this no marks. Both great strikes but it isn't even close
That's what shooting from outside the box gets you.
But can he do it on a cold night in Liege?
And include nutmeg as well!In a lake.
And playing with an injury?
In the rain on a quagmire of a pitch after beating three men.TBF I think the boy Humphrey is a good playerBut can he do it on a cold night in Liege?
With a set of waders on ....No he couldntBut can he do it on a cold night in Liege?
I think Neil must've been knocked back for a coaching role and he's taking it bad.FF's new favourite villain, Neil McCann, says he can't remember seeing a goal as good as that before. He even quotes Roofe's goal but dismisses it in favour of this no marks. Both great strikes but it isn't even close
What does this actually mean?Must be a bit of a dampener though, playing for Hearts and knowing that nothing you ever do, no matter how good, will never actually lead to anything.
(With all due respect to JamboReid, who seems like a decent fella)
Why, where do you keep your Febreeze, Toblerones and skulls?Better angle….not sure about the items round the telly though
That good you said it twiceIt’s a great goal but I’ve never been wowed by these sorts of goals as much as many are. The keepers so far away from his goal he’s just got to get a reasonable amount of loft and get it within that 7.5m range for the length of the goals.
It’s like players picking out 50 yard passes which you do see quite frequently. It’s just not something you see often because the keeper being way off his goal while an opposition player is near the halfway line isn’t a situation that occurs often. If it took some really advanced level technique then Hearts players probably wouldn’t be pulling it off.
Anyway Roofe’s was far better on account of the size of the game, terrible conditions, the angle and the fact he had to dribble a couple of players before he could shoot.
I’m having a nightmare today! That good you said it twice
It's a great piece of skill and if it was that easy you would see it far more often. Definitely a case of easier said than done. It’s a great goal but I’ve never been wowed by these sorts of goals as much as many are. But these goals aren’t something you see often because the keeper being way off his goal line while an opposition player is near the halfway line with an angle for a shot is a situation that never arises in about 99% of games. There's a shop in Motherwell shopping precinct with all those skull ornaments in the window. I generally wonder who buys that stuff. Why, where do you keep your Febreeze, Toblerones and skulls?

FFS hahahahaha. Roofe goal not withstanding, it's still an absolute peach.Roofe fought for and won the ball then beat three defenders before shooting. Humphrey’s took a pass and ran away from one defender before shooting.
No comparison, without even taking the weather and pitch conditions into consideration.
I’m not saying it’s easy, but it’s not exactly difficult either. You don’t see it often because the whole situation barely every arises in games. It's a great piece of skill and if it was that easy you would see it far more often. Definitely a case of easier said than done.
You'd be amazed how hard it is to lob a keeper from that distance.I’m not saying it’s easy, but it’s not exactly difficult either. You don’t see it often because the whole situation barely every arises in games.
