A lot of stats I’ve seen seems to suggest St Johnstone should be higher than their league position.

Things such as chances, crosses per game etc all very high.

According to Fotmob(good app BTW) they are comfortably the 5th best team in the league this season.

The reason they are sticking a bit closer this year is because there is no Hearts and no other good teams like Motherwell or Killie to take as many points off them. But they still drop points to inferior sides. Its quite a strange thing.
