How do we manage Cerny now?

I think it’s a disgrace we never got another natural winger in, at least on loan. Clement should make a point to the board, give him very limited starts in the league and keep him fresh for Europe and the Scottish Cup.

Sell Ridvan and 1 other and buy Cerny it's a must ! If he wants to stay that is..
Can’t talk for the guy but I just get this feeling Cerny doesn’t want to stay in Glasgow. He will have top 5 league interested and is in his prime. He won’t here next season sadly

Thing is, we need more than just Cerny. If we blow a huge portion of our budget on him, how much will we be able to strengthen the rest of the squad?
depends how much we have and how much we can trim the dead wood - sure it's a big outlay and may not be possible but think we should at least evaluate it and se if the numbers add up, that's all.

For me we keep playing him the way we have. Play your strongest team every week imo. If he gets injured so be it but he's been fine so far.

Maybe look to bring him off every now and then if the games dead but other than that we should still be going full every game.

Obviously not against lower league opponents etc

We keep him fit, then at the end of the season dont tell his partner club where he is, send him to Turkey to get a hair transplant, new teeth and then get him to change his name. Then we sign this new guy that no one has heard of on a free :)

I think we’ll see more of what we saw at the weekend. Cerny did seem annoyed to be coming off but you could see Clement speak with him and he looked satisfied at what he was told. I hadn’t expected to play at all after coming off injured on the Thursday night. The “player trading model” shouldn’t stop us at least trying to sign him. If the price is too high then we look elsewhere but he won’t be easy to replace. He’s been a tremendous player for us.

There's a lot of people making assumptions above. For example "he doesn't want to stay in Glasgow", "he'll have a move to a top five league lined up" etc. and "we can't afford him"

Pure speculation, none of us know the details of the loan, never mind whether he's settled in Glasgow.

What if he's loving it here and we negotiated the purchase price when we took him on loan?
