How many goals do we lose from corners

Doesn’t help when the only two players in your team over 6 foot are your centre half’s and no other player is. Really doesn’t help when one of them goes off injured either.

There’s a lack of height and physicality in the team throughout it. Propper isn’t aggressive enough in the air.

We lack height and physicality at set pieces. Been murder in defending and attacking situations. Agree it needs addressing.

We defend these things with zero aggression. And it absolutely blows my mind that we allow attackers to physically get right up against and push around our goalkeeper every single time.

Clement, speaking at a news conference in quotes reported by the Rangers Review, said when asked if he would employ a set-piece coach: “No, because I love set pieces and that is a thing of the past but is also a reason, I think I played a lot of games as I scored a lot of goals from set pieces so I will not give away that part.”

Watching the highlights back and it's frightening the amount of their chances came from either a corner or a set piece. We lack height and physicality all over the pitch. Guys like Souttar, Sterling and Balogun would help a bit but we need more than that.

Every corner or free kick led to a chance. Partly because their delivery was excellent but largely due to having a team full of wee boys. Also we have a ridiculous tactic of putting guys like yilmaz and Barron on the tallest players

thats the problem mate ,the three you mentioned are constantly sitting in the stand.

But but but statistically you don’t score from them

Arguments to suit people. Only one way eh

Simple dreadful at defending them dreadful at taking them

Well we've conceded 4 goals possibly 5 can't quite remember if Taylor against us was as a result of a corner or not from 151 this season. 3 headers Hibs, St Mirren, St Johnstone and then Butland punching one in last night.

Hard to believe Butland is 6'5" when you see the state of him at corners.
When he jumps he is 5’8”! He is weak and they targeted him after his Motherwell error. Shots are also going through him far too often. Add a first choice goalkeeper to our summer list. He needs sold. Kelly for rest of season for me.

Could see straight away last night that it was a mis-match in both boxes. Even worse when balogun went off.

It feels like we've been all over the place since December, even when we haven't been conceding. Butland is like a spasmodic tarantula when the ball is put on top of him.

This is a lot of the problems, when you have Raskin, Barron and Ridvan defending them you're going to have problems, ffs they look like wee boys in amongst giants

The lack of physical presence is a problem for us. Hopefully Fernandes at 6’3 will help address this.

It needs fixed and has done for a while.

Not just that, against Hibs they put one of their thugs right in friend of Kelly, with no intent to play the ball or jump - just to stop Kelly moving. And it worked, Kelly couldn’t get to it properly and they scored. It’s obstruction, of course, not that Scottish refs are interested. No doubt other teams will do same.

We are a very small side, when Balogun went off it got even worse.
Raskin is one of our better aerial players and he's about 4 foot tall.

I still maintain that there is no coaching at our club that involves heading the ball, or even jumping to "challenge" for it.

As for that Butland og, it was suggested to me by another fan that the old policy of having a defender on the back post might have helped us there.

Igamane, a striker, was by far and away our best defender at set pieces last night. Man Utd would have scored direct from a corner if Igamane had not headed it away. Truly schoolboy stuff from us. We need to bring in a right few physical players and a new goalkeeper, if we can punt Butland. Over £30k a week for a goalkeeper who can come for crosses, is poor with the ball at his feet and loses far too many suspects goals. Not good enough.

honestly baffling how much of a bomb scare he is at crosses now. I can remember the first few games after he joined, I was delighted that after mcgregor's decline we had a keeper that could actually move off his line and dominate his 6 yard box at crosses. I'm wondering if I just imagined it, because it's hard to believe how much he's regressed.

The average that gets mentioned on her me defending our lack of goals from corners doesn’t seem to apply in reverse.

We must lose one at least every 10 games averaged out.

It's not obstruction Kelly ended up in absolute no man's land and it wasn't the first time in that game he done it.

Clement loves set pieces and was going to sort it himself…

We have a team of midgets and a goalkeeper who is prone to flapping at crosses, it’s not a great combination :(
