How many title deciding games have you attended?

None.

That's quite sad to think about that a younger generation of fans who just attend games at Ibrox last 15 years have never seen the league title won.

Until next year

Ibrox 2003 and Rugby Park 2011.

2003 was my first full season with a ST, I was about 15 and remember there being folk offering £200+ for a ticket outside Ibrox.

Tempting at that age, but I'd never have got over it now if I had punted it. What a day.

That must have been a weird one being in the away end at Ibrox. I take it there was no hassle or trouble?

no hassle was surrounded by fellow bears. When I’ve been in the away end before I’ve been good not celebrating when we’ve scored but when the first went in and the Govan rose as one it was natural just to jump up as well. At that point all the bears ie 95% of the corner had revealed themselves so it was no problem. Okay couldn’t celebrate like I did in the East Enclosure for my first title but just being their was worth it.

On the highlights when they equalise the camera goes to the away end and its looks like the dunfermline fans outnumbered not the other way about

cameras concentrated on the one half row of Dunfermline supporters in the corner that’s why I was only a few rows down but never made it onto the dvd, gutted.

After listening to the latest Time Capsule pod on Heart and Hand, I’m interested to know how many title deciding games we’ve all been at. I appear to have been quite lucky having been at 5 belters:

3 in a row v Aberdeen at Ibrox
8 in a row v Aberdeen at Ibrox
1999 at Parkhead
2003 Dunfermline at Ibrox
Helicopter Sunday

What about the rest of you?
2003 at Ibrox v Dunfermline
and 2011 at Rugby Park v Killie then up the road to Ibrox for after party

Both outstanding days..

I hardly missed a game between 1986 & 2011, so was at most of them.

Using @dh1963's template:

1975 Easter Road yes
1976 Tannadice no
1978 Ibrox v Motherwell yes
1987 Pittodrie yes
1989 Ibrox v Hearts yes
1990 Tannadice yes
1991 Ibrox v Aberdeen yes
1992 Ibrox v St Mirren yes
1993 Broomfield yes
1994 Rugby Park yes
1995 we won it without playing. Was at next game v Hibs
1996 Ibrox v Aberdeen yes
1997 Tannadice yes
1999 Parkhead yes
2000 we won it without playing. Was at next game v St Johnstone
2003 Ibrox v Dunfermline yes
2005 Easter Road no
2009 Tannadice yes
2010 Easter Road yes
2011 Rugby Park yes

Missing Helicopter Sunday was hard, but partially made up by flipping channels at the right time, at home. Took me a few seconds to realise that McDonald had scored a 2nd, as I was channel hopping and initially thought it was a replay.

1978, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995 (kind of, I think we won it at Easter Road, even though we lost results elsewhere meant we won the title that night), 1996, 2000 I was at the St Johnstone game after. I've been in England since 2002 so not seen any in the flesh since I'm afraid.

All the ones at Ibrox from 1989 - I wished Id been at Helicopter Sunday. A couple of us were in a mixed pub and everything was pretty ok up until about 'the helicopter is turning' and things turned a bit nasty and we made quick exit as wanted to celebrate no have aggro

The Gazza hatrick for 8 in a row.
Helicopter Sunday 02/03.

Even though I had my season ticket from 1995, I never went to many away games so missed out on a few.

I still kind of count Parkhead away in 97 as a title decider as that killed them that day. That was another example of them thinking they couldn't lose.

No Goram, an ageing Hateley well past his prime, they thought they were going to do us that day.

Wrong again:D

89 v Hearts at Ibrox - vague memory now !
03 v Dunfermline at Ibrox - glorious weather and holding my breath for that Arteta penalty and parading away from stadium after the match.
05 v Hibs Easter Rd (helicopter turning, offered ticket the night before and went with no real expectation. Still my best highlight (so far) following our team.

I’ve never been one for travelling to many away games except in the mid 80s due to my dad’s involvement.
Surprisingly few won at Ibrox.

I was at all the games also but Helicopter Sunday at Easter Road was the best for me, it ripped them apart which 55 is going to do also.

All 5 since 2003, but I was only 18 when we won our last one and it seems like a lifetime ago.

My dad has been at every one since Easter Rd 1975.
Would imagine there will be quite a few on here who have too.
True mate. It’s an interesting spread, kinda depends what age you are I suppose. A poster above was 11 at Easter Road in 1975.
My 5 are bookended by being old enough to go (aged 7) and growing up with a new career and family (aged 25)
