How was the place where you watched the game?

Auditorium Seville, went with the intention of having our 4 free drinks then we'd head to the stadium with the screens. No, we stayed in the auditorium, it was absolutely fantastic, bit of AC DC thrown in there too, suberb place was rockin

Watched at another local supporters clubs home base but far too many neutrals in ruined the atmosphere a bit.

Went to the gallant pioneer in Blackpool, left at 5 because it was far to busy, giant queue for the bogs and bars, went down to the Manchester pub on the seaside, unbelievable the pub only had 2 barstaff on and turned the tvs of with 2 minutes to go and nearly started a riot ,then had to jump to the scottish bar round the corner from the Manchester, fukin mental night.

That just sounds like a night of added stress that you don’t need, why did they turn the tv’s off with 2 minutes to go? No wonder it nearly started a riot it’s suicidal.

Out on my decking in back garden.
Flags ,balloons ,big screen tv ,plenty of food and drink.
Just family and had a ball until....the end.
Another crazy situation was another family over the back from us had the same idea ,but our tv was seconds behind.

I watched the game in the viceroy bar on prw last night and right up until the end the atmosphere was brilliant, pub was buzzing and the singing was great before and during the game and when rangers scored I’ve never hugged so many randoms and there was drinks and tables going everywhere and It wasn’t over crowded so you could still get moving and plenty of big tv’s to watch the game on, It’s a great pub and well run and would recommend it to anyone.

How was everyone else’s experience of where you watched it? How was places like the loudon and the auctioneers that was queued or the places in town that people had to book?
The Ramon Snachez Stadium.

One of the worst experiences of attending a football match every.

The Spanish National Police blockades (pathetic over the top crowd control for a 42k Stadium) Held at one for 45 minutes.

The Bluetooth activation, the over the top security my travel deodorant and suncream binned. Ffs yet they allow in battery pack due to there ticketing system, yet I'm pretty sure if a battery pack connected with a players head then it would do far more damage that a 50ml suncream and deodorant.

Having arrived the the ground for 1900 eventually got in at 2030 only to be greater with kiosks just opened with no stock.......madness....

Couldn't get to the game, so my sons and I had all this at home. It's all down now though; very subdued later.

The Rhoderick Dhu Waterloo st.
Fantastic atmosphere and thanks to management and staff for being bloody good, they worked hard.
Fair prices and decent pre match food.

The Park Bar on PRW. Was phoning round loads of bars last week with no joy but eventually managed to get tables booked last week for 14 of us, just in time too as they stopped taking bookings later that day.

Overall a great night (barring the result of course). Tables were downstairs, which isn't the biggest space and was a bit cramped. But right next to the screens and no problem getting served as it has its own wee bar separate from the bigger space upstairs and staff were sound. Atmosphere was tremendous...from 4pm right to ko and beyond, bears in fine voice and tunes were getting belted out non stop, just a really electric feel around the place. Celebrating our goal like a madman with a group of close mates was an all time classic moment, plus the obligatory hugging of every random nearby.

Only other downside was the toilets down there...proper reeking, beyond the usual stale pish aroma, like some sort of drainage problem which seemed to seep into the pub as the night went on and the sweaty factor increased. Or maybe it just got stuck in my nostrils. Nasty.

One wee postscript to the story...the minute frankfurt scored their final pen, I walked out the side door to the smoking area and sat down at a wee bench over to the side. Couldn't be arsed talking to anyone at that point, analysing the game or listening to a few of the more angry bears inevitably criticising the team / players etc. Needed 10 minutes of silence just to try and process the disappointment and get some perspective. Sat there alone with my thoghts, lit my fag and then right on cue...it started to rain. Seemed strangely poetic.

Watched in the house with my old boy, father in law and my mrs. I did the food, which was well received and my dad and I got battered into the booze.

Punched the big light when we scored as we all went mental.
Sat on the stairs dejected when Ramsey's penalty was saved. Didn't want to speak to anyone after that. I just get really snappy with folk even though they mean well in trying to offer a "bright side". Did have to bite my tongue when my FIL made a comment about players taking their runners-up medals straight back off - he said he didn't like it whereas I'd probably doing that exact thing. Do get on great with him and wasn't worth getting into an argument over something so trivial.

Probably came across as a bit of an arsehole tbh. Especially when I'm on here being somewhat philosophical about the game/ run in general.

Good day/ night apart from the result.

They only had two staff on somehow there was a couple of hundred punters in the couldn't cope and the guy in charge just shut shop without any notice .

With over 350 other bears at 3am at the supporters' club in Perth, Australia. The atmosphere was superb. The celebrations at Joe Aribo's goal will live with me forever. The police showed up at the end (no issues, all friendly), we were making so much noise. Just wish we'd won and it would've been the mother of all parties.

Watched on the Olympic stadium Seville, good atmosphere
Thought great atmosphere, fanzone before game class( dj good apart from starting tim song he had to stop sharpish
) police ott making it difficult to get in but once inside all up for game. Strange panic after game now sure what over. Was pissed far to many once on Blue moon fans had tickets for actual game but watched with folk I go games with and that's what all about end of day.

Record Factory on Byres Road. Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was busy and bouncing.

Hugging lots of strangers when we scored, chatting to lots of random bears outside when trying to get phone reception. Was a great night aside from the score of course.

In the main stand of the stadium. Just didn’t feel like the occasion it really was. A bunch of reasons for that though

This makes no sense. The first ring with riot police checked tickets and your weren’t blagging it past them and then the turnstiles were manned by stewards and cops every entrance from what I saw so you weren’t able to double up.

Sure you didn’t just drop acid and imagine all that? :))
Nope. Plenty got past the first line of cops and couldnt get into the stadium.

The Ship and Anchor , Calgary, 1:00pm KO. Good crowd of Bears in plus two Germans who sat at their own telly away from the big screen. Great atmosphere but most fans with exception of a few, left within an hr or so if game finishing. I must have left about 6:00 blootered ( had been in since 11:00am) The pub crowd by that time had changed over to Hockey fans getting ready for the big Battle of Alberta playoff game just down the road

I was at the game. Neutral section but in the corner right beside the rangers end.

Stadium was a shambles. I ran down to the toilet in each half and at half time to get water out the tap in the toilet. Went down at full time and the water was shut off and the kiosks weren’t selling anything.

Dunno if it was the occasion, nerves, folk who don’t go often and don’t know the words to songs but we were subdued the whole night.

Watched it in Go Glasgow Hotel, decent enough to sit and see the game but for 20 quid a ticket and 15 quid for a child thier 'buffet' was pie and chips or macaroni. I'd rather have just paid less to get in.

Pints of lager was fucked and ended up paying 4 quid for bottles of beer.

As a say though to sit with a bit of atmosphere and watch the game it was good.

Watched it in the Park Inn in Baku, with my rangers supporting Nigerian colleague. Bar was empty and souless.

Watched it in Legends Bar in Cardiff with the Cardiff Brian Laudrup RSC. 60 plus bears from all 4 home nations took over the downstairs bar (plus 2 Cardiff police spotters !). Fantastic atmosphere and the bar staff worked their socks off to keep the beer flowing. Other than the result it was a fantastic night with fellow bears in brilliant voice

DJ to warm up the crowd. It was like a Club Night with some Rangers tunes flung in for good measure :) The place was bouncing!

The wait at the Bars wasn’t too long.

Only gripe was that the screen could have been bigger and I had to move down to the floor in the 2nd half to see the far side of the pitch properly but not a major issue.
Get that dj to Ibrox for matchdays he was brilliant, that english commentator was horrific, am sure it was Andy didn't hear surname

Fanzone stadium

It was a bit flat as well I thought, but did enjoy it.

It was long and quiet walk back to the old town after the game.

I watched it in a private apartment in Liverpool. Had toyed with the idea of going to a city centre bar, but alas this is one town that doesn’t look Bear friendly at all.

Booked a booth in Tennents right in front of the big screen in the side bit, then discovered we could use their app to order drinks straight to our table.

Place was bouncing so a great night up until the eighth penalty

There was 16 of us in the house aged 11 to 80 and it was awesome. Great atmosphere and one black eye for my son when his uncle smacked him the face as Joe scored.

It was great to be together for such an occasion and I wont forget it.

In the house with my nephew and missus. Flags and balloons up, they were both wearing my old Rangers shirts. We had a good day and night, brilliant sharing it with them when Joe scored, just absolute devastation at the end. At least my own devastation could be parked a bit to console the wee fella, we both really thought we were going to win it.
I thought I’d experienced every emotion in 40 years watching Rangers, but I’ve never felt like that.

In the ground. The atmosphere was decent enough round about us in N36, stood beside what must’ve been the most passionate 8 year old I’ve seen at a game, outstanding wee fella.

Facilities atrocious, the heat was suffocating, holding hands of older fans to help them in and out the row as they feared they would fall, stadium a disgrace.

Wonderful city, no issues all day, great people, will visit again without football.

In a mixed area in the stadium. It was very hot and very dry. The Germans were decent around us it has to be said.

We were about 25/30 yards back right of the Union Bears but, in the open air, we could barely hear what they were singing.

At Ibrox, being near front middle of the Club Deck, it’s obvious to us what the UB’s are singing and they can lead the singing for the whole Stadium.

The Seville set up resulted in different songs being started up by the Group, between us and the Main Stand, and the UB’s.

Unlike the more regimented singing of the Germans we couldn’t gain any momentum apart from the brief period after our goal and our singing generally petered out to an extent.

The icing on the cake was the water situation along with the awkwardness (certainly for me) of actually trying to stand up on in a seating system which doesn’t have tip up seats. I ended up sitting down on occasions which is something I would rarely do during a big match.

It’s also clear that the German support were treated differently to us and gained several pre arranged concessions regarding Flags, Flares and the Tito.

Near the Stadium we saw thousands of them bing given a police escort along the streets but when we eventually entered the ground all of the Germans were in their seats which means that they couldn’t have been subjected to the same time consuming searches as us.

One of the things that grates on me from the stadium entry is the inconsistency. A policewoman had a right good search of my bag, which was bigger than A4 (I was willing to take the chance of it being taken off me) and let me in with a battery pack, a bottle of water, sunscreen & a deodorant in it.

Did I just get lucky? Was it because I was female? I guess we’ll never know but the inconsistency is as frustrating as the rest of it.

Open air auditorium fan zone in Seville.

Superbly organised at what I would assume was short notice. Well worth the entry fee.

Lots of staff, lots of bars, good access to toilets and a great atmosphere.
Agree, when you hear all the horror stories at the other venues I would say this was pretty descent!!
It was like a techno concert up until kickoff, right good atmosphere.

Section S45. Mostly Rangers fans, small group of Germans at the front and back who were all spot on. Like others have said it was a shambles getting in and no water was an utter disgrace. Had my water taken off me and battery pack. It all seemed completely over-zealous and just not in keeping with what I'd experienced the entire trip.

Our fans weren't as vocal as I expected but, plenty of reasons for that already mentioned. An amazing moment when big Joe scored and being able to stand side by side with my brother will go to my grave with me. There have been some really shitty things written about our support on here the past 24 hours but, I thought they were a credit to the club. Amazing atmosphere throughout the trip. Even yesterday we had a really good day at our hotel with a group of lads from Bellshill. Brilliant guys, to a person and I think it has really helped with getting over what was obviously a disappointing result. I am burnt to %^*& now and nursing a bit of a hangover waiting to board at Faro.

Other than the stadium being a shit show my only other gripe about the entire thing is how Uefa distribute tickets. It's clear they need to bin this neutral section bullshit. It was obvious looking around the stadium that the people inside were either Rangers or Frankfurt. I'm fine with a couple of thousand being made available to locals for these games but, when all the tickets are ending up in the hands of supporters from the two clubs playing anyway, why not just give them to the clubs to distribute? I go to every home game and take every away ticket offered yet, my only option was to pay massively over the odds to get in. I know there are thousands like me but, equally there were thousands of others there who never set foot inside Ibrox. It's gutting to think about the guys who 100% deserved to be there but weren't able to stump up that sort of money for a ticket. I know I'm being a hypocrite and part of the problem now but, I exhausted every possible option before finally giving in. I'll be forever grateful to the Bear on here who secured us the tickets, which at least saved us the crazy fees but, until Uefa sort out their distribution they are just creating an environment where touts can thrive.
