Thought he was a decent player at Ajax suprised he ended up in Copenhagen tbh thought he would be playing at a higher level

Looks pretty good and would be nice to see a player shoot from distance like he seems keen to. However he is very young. And the showreel doesn’t show much apart from the goals. Would be good to see what he’s like dribbling and doing actual wingplay. I suspect Glen Middleton’s YouTube showreel for instance would look more impressive and we are not convinced on him yet. I remain a little wary, especially for a position where we already have 6 players for 2 or possibly even 1 position, depending how Morelos and Defoe play.

Nick Powell has great potential but seems to be lacking in application - Could Stevie G unlock that potential - not sure !

He probably was at the time but has never been fulfilled his potential hence released by ManUtd.
There is a player in there but doesn't apparently want to come out show what he can do !
Lack of ambition ?

At the end of the day it, in many instances, depends upon what is offered by way of wages - in reality we probably have to rely upon the SG factor !

Gerrard, Allen & Scoulding are a pretty close knit team so wouldn’t be suprised if the 3 of them went over to check out the clubs setup, facilities, development and so on.
 
If, as @ID10 suggests, Gerrard, Allen and Scoulding are hopping on planes to speak to a target then this must be a signing we really want to complete, and must be someone with quite a few options if Gerrard is going to speak to him face to face.

As an aside, in his book Gerrard talks about all the players he was asked to convince to come to Anfield when he was Liverpool captain, real world names at the time. Imagine the effect him contacting players at the level we operate at must have on convincing them?

Gerrard had tickets to personally attend Charlton game yesterday, he sent someone else instead and went to Denmark.

It won't be to do with youth link ups
 
So did the Denmark thing only come about because someone said HE was flying there and met SG in a lounge? Or does the OP have inside track that this was their destination?
