I miss going to Ibrox

These two recent signings, all great, but it takes an awful lot of the anticipation and excitement away when you can't actually see them in the flesh, give them an Ibrox welcome, let them know what Rangers is all about

It is our Church and we are the people.

It's amazing, I never took it for granted as such but having such a prolonged time away makes you really think.

It was 3 hours a week you could just lose yourself, immerse yourself into something completely away from 'life'.

Haste ye back
You're spot on. Watching BCD games is a very poor second to getting to matches.

I actually took a moment out on Boxing day at the Killie match to think just how much enjoyment following Rangers brings me. I'd had a bellyful of playing happy families over Christmas with extended family and in laws - half of which felt like a complete charade. When I took my seat for the match on boxing day, it emphasised to me just how much I love our club the pleasure following and supporting the team brings.

Really looking forward to getting back as soon as safe to do so, I'm a nervous wreck watching on TV!

I went to the stadium today and I must say, it was great seeing how busy it was, plenty of people there for the store. Great seeing a buzz about the place

been going to see the Rangers for over 55 years , god a miss it
Don’t know your situation mate but if you get a chance, try and take a trip round and go a walk round the stadium. I’ve been staying near the stadium during lockdown and having it in the background makes things a wee bit easier.
We’ll be back.

Normally I’d pass the stadium at least once a week for work but I’ve not seen it once since the Leverkusen game.

That certainly rings a bell with me.

Have been over quite a few times since this shit all started - just to walk round the place and think of the great times there.

Been going every 2nd week for about 25 years, no doubt many others on here have been going for a hell of a lot longer. We will return and the noise when the team runs out on the first game will have been built up for months

It is a massive part of people’s routine and no one should feel bad for speaking up about missing going. It’s a way to socialise, and gets emotions out god and bad that help everyday life more bearable. Where you can go and get that release probably is the balancing act that keeps many of us sane. I count myself lucky I had a hobby in cycling that I could get back into and fill my evenings and weekends with and get the endorphins from, but the twice I have been outside Ibrox has given me a massive lift as well as it just has that aura that can’t be replaced.

Try as best you can to fill the time and experience in other ways, getting angry can be easy to do but won’t get us back any faster, and think how worth it it will feel walking up the steps and seeing the pitch again when the time comes

It's bizarre for me living down South but I genuinely miss the overnight Megabus that is much maligned on here. 14 hour with 2 changes (to save 3 Tennents worth of £) , only seat available is opposite the toilet. Bag in Buchanan bus station with a giant Casino chip to get it back!
Play East Fife hopefully win! Meet cousins, beer, Tennents and back to Buchanan's street for 10pm and the same Megabus with 2 changes and work on a Monday morning and thanks to Sky with Sunday games I was frequently rocking up to my property management gig on a Monday in a rolled up suit
Nobody is EVER better or stauncher than the next fan but if push comes to shove we are all the same and would without a shadow of a doubt all do the same. I fucking love Ibrox, Ibrox is my home, Ibrox is my church. Maybe distance makes the heart grow fonder but I love our club and Ibrox doesn't make me greet it makes me proud and happy and one of the people.

Might have to go have a wee wonder round when the weather is nice, pub crawl up the prw on the way.

Miss the Stadium,my fellow supporters, the noise, the colour and everything that makes it special.

Worry that the wait to get back has been sorely comprimised by asshoile sheep players

I go with my Dad, my son, my mate and my father in law. My son is approaching 16 and he’s grown up from 3yrs old attending with his 2 Grandads who are nearing 70 and 80.....we will all be back there when the time is right and we will sing louder than ever. Keep believing!

I really miss it.

I just can’t see when we are all back in together.

I think government will do their best to ensure we can’t go enjoy a full capacity stadium for a very, very long time.

I think it will be a couple of years before it’s back to normal, I hope I am miles off it though.

It’s the things that keep you going, things will mean more

The first 20 minutes the next time the stadium is full will be electric. The place will be full about 30 minutes before it starts.
That's too far! One more pint 10 mins before kick off loyal.
You are absolutely right, embrace and enjoy what you have got

30 years for me. Went for the first time in 1990. Longest relationship I've ever been in.

It’s all I really have and I need it back. Don’t think I’ll ever feel a bit fed up heading to some nonsense midweek game against some lower table pish in the rain again.

I don’t think we will be back this season. What worries me more is what happens if we don’t end up with a viable vaccine for this virus.
We will be back this season, perhaps into 21, but in what numbers.
I agree with your second point though, what happens if there isn't a vaccine for a long time.

The French cup final had some fans last weekend though there was hardly any. We will likely see some fans back this season but a full Ibrox is a very long way off. When fans do return the plan is one fan and then two empty seats between them and then also two empty rows in front.
