Ibrox Armed Forces day

For anyone interested, this will take place 1st March Vs Motherwell
This from an old Para.
Watching the young boys nowadays serving no matter what regiment (paras being the best obviously :)) is beautiful to see at Ibrox. Never doubt that the lads look forward to it.
It actually brings a tear to my eye watching them.
At the moment I’m suffering hard times. I put it down to life. It’s just the way it is. I find it hard to fit in. Still do but that’s 16 years in the regiment.
Please make an effort to support the boys. It means the world to us. Believe me, our governments don’t give a fck.
Sorry for being a bit deep. We served and we lost friends. We fought on and some of us that are no longer in are still fighting to this day.
Show respect to the boys in uniform.

Absolutely right mate. Served 23 years, the year I did between the ages of 17 and 18 didn't count towards the 22 year engagement. As for the 'lest we forget is November team' I respectfully say, no it's not. It's every feckin day for some of us. From a loyal volunteer.
