Arfield 4 Really. Subs got more.

Allan McGregor 7
The Gers keeper was called into action on two occasions and did a good job keeping the Dundee attackers at bay.

James Tavernier 7
A good outing from the Gers captain. Had acres of room down the right side and went on about his business without any real problems.

Connor Goldson 6
Won both of his attempted ground duels and registered a pass accuracy north of 90 per cent. Had it quite easy with Dundee playing on the counter.

Calvin Bassey 5
Got bullied in the air on a couple of occasions and could have paid the price for it on another day. Not his best of games.

Borna Barisic 7
Much like Tavernier, there was little resistance offered with Dundee allowing the full-backs to take charge while trying to defend extremely narrowly.

Joe Aribo 9
Undoubtedly the man of the match for this one. The Nigeria international was everywhere, knitting passes, winning back possession and also finding the back of the net.

Scott Arfield 4
Misplaced nine of his attempted 40 passes on the day which saw his pass accuracy come under 80 per cent. Not the kind of calmness one expects from their holding midfielder. He also played a lot of sidewards passes and did not look to seize the initiative at any time.

Glen Kamara 6
Had a decent game and combined well with the attackers in the final third. Was taken off in the 73rd minute and did not have any real noteworthy contributions in the game.

Ianis Hagi 7
Looked terrifying down the right and kept the Dundee defenders on the back foot. Fine performance.

Alfredo Morelos 8
A lot was spoken about his lack of goals in the build-up and he did well to silence his critics with a well-struck effort.

Fashion Sakala 7
Another player who looked threatening in the final third and GvB will be impressed with the efforts from his front three.

Some of those ratings are utterly bonkers but not a surprise.

Bassey did not deserve a 5. Arfield most definitely did not deserve a 4, that was just outrageous.

They are not supporters of Rangers.

Idiots is all I can say

Arfield a 4 - bizarre

Morelos an 8? - bizarre. Was hopeless in the first half, lot better in the second but missed a fair few first half chances

Bassey losing a few aerial battles, I genuinely can’t recall this. He had the cigar out

To be fair, the amount of poor touches and passes Arfield makes is pretty frustrating. And he always struggles to get ball out of his feet. Just watch the number of times he mis-controls the ball and then loses possession as a result.
Only Aribo stopped Arfield from being Motm IMO.

He was excellent.

Does anyone know if this website is anything m to do with a chap who has worked either at the DR or The Sun and posts on here by the name of @The Duke
Perhaps he will tell us himself??

Right OK - who was that who won the ball back and sent Sakala away leading to Morelos goal? Who has an assist for Aribo - I know Joe did 90% of it himself but still.

Kamara was also winning back possession on the odd occasion Dundee tried to break and kept them hemmed in

As for their rating of Bassey - what a load of crap - Bassey was in complete control.
