Just reading about all that and how Atletico Madrid changed their name from Athletic as well.Athletic Bilbao too, which is ironic considering a Brit would not be allowed to join them!

Bilbao had to change their name to Atletico under Franco as they weren't allowed English team names. They changed it back after his regime ended.Athletic Bilbao too, which is ironic considering a Brit would not be allowed to join them!
These days many call them both Athletico!Bilbao had to change their name to Atletico under Franco as they weren't allowed English team names. They changed it back after his regime ended.
Mussolini also forced Milan to use Milano under his regime.Bilbao had to change their name to Atletico under Franco as they weren't allowed English team names. They changed it back after his regime ended.
Snake badge? There's only one club I know that this is apt for.
Diaspora DeviantsTim's will go for a rebrand after they are pumped in the courts for enabling a paedophile ring... Glasgow Hibernian!
A GlaschĂş Celtic?
Same again this year, now Konami have lost the license! Easily changed in game though nowadays.Think Pro Evo called them Milan Blue back in the 90s. Much better.
The new juve badge is truly awful. So dumbed down and plain it’s not worth having it. Utterly dreadfulTheir rebranding can't be anywhere near as bad as Juve's new crest and shirt designs.
Obviously they will have a crack team of marketing people on this getting paid a fortune, but how would changing the name and crest slightly give them a bigger appeal to a new audience?
Good point. Any publicity is good publicity I suppose.Easier to spell?
God knows, but we're on our 3rd page of talking about it so it is drawing eyeballs.
They were always going to get tyred of them.more to the point, they're getting rid of pirelli as their sponsor?!
Tread carefully with these puns. They were always going to get tyred of them.
Agreed, but I'd still pick a serie a game over an EPL one. That era in the 90s when the Serie A was the biggest league in World was Football at it's absolute peak for me.
I'd love for Serie A to take back it's crown, there's just something more glamorous and romantic about even the wee teams in that league compared to teams like Burnley and Brighton in the EPL.
Sadly those days are gone forever and things like this won't help.
