J Defoe talking to Jim White

Whites the type who if one guest said Rangers are great, he'd reply oh I know aren't they. After the ads another guest might say Rangers are rubbish, oh I know aren't they. Poor host on any platform, God only knows how he got the job.

Fell in love with the club, knew Rangers were massive, but it's not until you get there you realise how big.

Looks around the dressing room and sees a mixture of experience and young hungry players and convinced we will succeed.

Would be happy to finish his playing career at Rangers.

Walks down the tunnel and sees legends names on the walls and tells the players if we do something special that will be us one day.

Theres more to come from him in the last hour of show 12-1pm.

That was pure radio porn.

Wanting to ensure success and talking about wanting to come back as an old man and see his name on the list of legends in the tunnel area. He tells the other players their names can be added there and they are all driving for success.
He's absolutely right. Whatever group of players (hopefully this group) delivers our next title will be granted legend status given what it will mean to the fans and Club as a whole.

I so hope his name is there.

Grateful if someone can let us know if a listen again be available. Should be a good listen on drive home.

He'll be back on again in the next hour - but sounds like as if he'll be talking about England in that segment. (Pre-recorded interview)

It was a good listen, by god Defoe is in total love with our wonderful club and who can blame him!

I don't think the manager and the players can imagine the emotion and the response to this League title.

As a non-drinker, at least Jermain will be the only one to remember the 55 celebrations in May. We should get him to be cooking the hangover fry-ups for us all ! :D

Wee Jermain in a kitchen apron asking how I'd like my bacon done would top it all off ! :D

Unbelievable how much JD loves it here, he absolutely gushed about being here.

Listening to him talk defo (excuse the pun) brought a tear to the eye, the bit about walking
through the tunnel with all the famous past players on the wall was special.
We are lucky to have him.

Defoes a class act, on and off the field.. Look it the change in Fredo, a lot of that will be down to Defoe.

he's had a few clubs and could stack up all the pro's and con's plus his attitude and belief in what he is saying shows in his performances

i think he could play here 2 even 3 more years

Absolutely, he's looked after himself and there's no reason why he can't contribute on the pitch at 40 years old and off the pitch from now until whenever. Jermain is an indisputable model professional.
He is without doubt loving it at Rangers and wants/expects success. A permanent deal is surely certain.

wow.. you can hear it in his voice how privileged he feels to have chance to play for Rangers. Great asset to the club and feels the way every player should feel when pulling on a rangers jersey

Oh I don't know......
