It is with a heavy heart that I bring the news of the passing of Bowser this morning. Jim was a member of Wigtown RSC. And was well known around the Rangers fraternity. Jim put up a helluva fight over the last year or so, but finally lost his final battle this morning. RIP Brother, friend & legend. GBNF

Sorry to hear this sad news.
Bowser was a gentleman & a great Rangers man.
Always enjoyed a chat anytime I met him following Rangers.
Deepest sympathy to his family, friends & Wigtown RSC.
Gone but not forgotten.

Very sad news. It was always a pleasure to see and have a drink with Bowser when he came down to Blackpool.

Rest easy now Bowser.

We used to get on the Wigtown bus at Ayr for the away games and the big man would always ask us "how's the young squad this morning?" And a handshake as you got off after and a "straight home now".

Genuinely sad news.
