Booth is right just fire it back to front and let their keeper and defenders make mistakes, too far and takes too many passes for them to get up the pitch. Launch it see what happens might just change the game.

She has a point though. This Scotland manager was nominated for Scottish writers association's manager of the year purely because she's a woman. On the basis of this game she doesn't have a clue what she's doing.
She's spot on in what she said. Especially the defending at the first goal.

Working from home today so decided to stick this on for a bit.

It's just a carbon copy of Scottish football at all levels - poor passing, no vision, no awareness, technically very poor, lack of composure, poor touch and general lacking in ability and just "running about a bit".

The technical ability in Scotland as a whole - male and female - is terrible and has been for decades.

The coaching in Scotland is clearly all wrong and Scotland has been left behind. But no one seems to do anything about it.

There is more to football than charging about on a pitch and 'being physical'.

Scotland seems obsessed in being 'tough to play against' and having 'physical' attributes. Where the hell has that got us??

Scott Booth underlining your point there with his first words in the second half

"What do Scotland need to do here ?"

"They need to get in Japan's faces"

Brilliant tactics mate. Get that national anthem playing, I can feel the pride and excitement rising already...

"Get stuck in! " is Scottish football in a nutshell. The ignorance to try and move on from that is astounding.

You'd think people would have learned by now.

This is brutal

Nothing football

Half a dozen times they are in position to hurt them

Turn backwards like some kind of possession bot

Edit : Absolutely terrified to make an incomplete pass rather than accept that 20% of the time you will get a look at goal.

If they actually wake up they could still win
