Another thread about a nudge on Jak Alnwick at Motherwell's first goal got me thinking about the present day protection goalkeepers get.
My old man told me stories about 50's and 60's players, particularly about one of his heroes Jimmy Millar. According to my old man, Jimmy, and other centre forwards, were not adverse to knocking the keeper into the net and getting a goal on occasion. Can any older Bears confirm if this is fact?
