Joe Aribo Appreciation Thread

He’s been superb this season a joy tae watch him keep the ball with 4 opposing players around him and the goals are coming too aswell now

He’s had the shackles taken off him under Gio. Under Gerrard we were very structured but Gio is a lot more fluid and it suits aribo to a tee.

Got a cracking ovation all the way to the subs bench. His ability to beat a man from a standing start plus the aggressiveness / directness is making him our most effective player this season.

Was all over the park today, one minute on the right, the next on the left. As you say, looks to have been given a bit more freedom to express. Also appears that Gio has encouraged us to shoot from distance more going by the last few games

Getting better and better. Best man on the park, most consistent performer this season. Our player of the season thus far.

He looks different level under van Bronckhorst.

I’m his biggest critic but he was good today. He needs to do it when it really matters through like with the chance he missed at Easter road on Wednesday.

If he was playing in a Celtic shirt under Ange-ball he’d be getting praised right, left and centre.

Better season than both the two 19th Century Terrorist wonder boys!

Got a great reception from the Copland and main stand as he made his way round after being subbed.

Great to see.

When he got subbed he came off at the Copland/Govan corner and got applauded all the way round to the dug out,he looked like he really appreciated it,nice moment between player and crowd.

We were saying today you really have to watch and savour these guys when they are here with us there won’t always be such talent on show so watch and admire

It’s always been the case for me that Joe Aribo can be the best player in Scottish football anytime he wants to.

Problem is, it seems he doesn’t fully believe he can be.

Well, until now . . .

(watch this space! ;))

Upper body strength allied to close control and natural ability make him top 6 Premiership quality and that would command a healthy return.

A beautiful footbalker with the ideal temperament.

PS He ain't leaving any time soon #56

Definately the one player who will attract unwanted interest and we may not be able to hold onto.

You can tell he is a class act by the way he makes stuff look so easy. Happily skips past folk without appearing to have done a trick.

He’s a joy to watch at times. He’s been winning the ball back a lot more this season and he’s too big to be messed with. I don’t think he’ll be here long if he keeps improving.

Being allowed to be the player is is rather than attempting to turn him into something else.

He is flourishing

Player of the season so far, wouldn't back against him taking it throughout the whole season and he is someone that Gio seems to trust. Rightly so. Exceptional again today.

He has every trait he needs to make it to the very top. It’s widely agreed that all he’s ever lacked is that bit of swagger or belief in himself but I think we’re seeing that this season.

Sign him up ASAP Ross
