I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny Hubbard when I was fortunate to have hospitality in the Thornton Suite.I was walking along along the corridor passed the Managers Office and I saw this elderly gentleman who I recognised.I said its a pleasure to meet you MR Hubbard,you were my fathers favourite player.He said give my regards to you're Dad,I was quite choked as he wasn't to, know that my father had died some years earlier.He was a true gentleman.
