I think he’s poor. I think Gerrard has seen he is a limited player.

He’s a winger and we don’t play with wingers. Maybe hasn’t shown enough desire to adapt. But I still think he could do well I really do, especially in the SPL
He’s so far out the picture he’s between Middlesbrough and Stoke.
He only came on tonight because he was in our Euro squad and Barker had blown a gasket out the top of his heid.

At least he had a bit of fight and actually committed their players to foul him. Barker was like a wee boy playing against his dad, he must be some player when no one sees what he can do - maybe if he accepted he is losing the hair he can shave the bloody thing off.

it's an odd one. the press articles say he's not in the plans. when asked Gerrard said that didn't come from the club (aka the player/agent?) then tonight he brought him on and he probably done more than Barker did the whole game. weird one...

He looked hungry when he came on. Gave their FB something to think about.
Been done since the Celtic tackle. Acting billy big baws immediately after it and never apologised straight away to his team mates / manager. Perm deal was agreed for him to go in Jan which he refused. Off field indiscretions also.

I'd love him to turn his Rangers career around, he'd be a very handy player to have in the squad and given the fact we can have 9' on the bench and 5 subs there should be plenty opportunity for him and others, down to him and the gaffer to see if his attitude changes (if that's the issue)

I agree, Barkers problem was when he got up to speed his hair tried to fly off his heid like a bad hair piece, must have caused some amount of drag and slowed him down he needs to get a shorter hair cut with the hair he has left and accept the residing hairline.

Getting sent off in the scum game after a needless attempt to half one of their players, putting up cryptic instagram posts moaning about his playing time, getting himself fined for careless driving.
And that's just the stuff that I know of, there's rumours he's a tough guy to have in the dressing room, really rubs people the wrong way. That's only a rumour though so can't say how accurate it is.

Jones, Barker and Stewart are SPL plodders who will barely get game time for Rangers and when they do, will rarely contribute.

All four could be move on and it wouldn't hurt us in any way other than numbers.
Jones did okay when he came on. He f'd up in the first game against that mob at Ibrox last season but I do not understand how Gerrard can write off a player he signed on the strength of that game. Jones has the capability to do a good job for Rangers if he's given the chance to do so.

It’s not just his character. It’s his decision making and lack of a football brain. He is capable of producing but fails to 99% of the time. If the ball falls to him in the box you know he’s missing and he’s a forward ffs.
He had a great opportunity to put a dangerous ball in the box tonight and just floated it into the keepers arms. Sadly, that’s generally what you get from him.
