Kerryfail Meltdown - Yes, they are nutjobs!

There was a voice note supposedly from Mulgrew which has been deleted but this is the gist of it from Keeryfail:

Mulgrew voice note: Bankier pulled DM aside and said ‘we’ve spent enough. No more money going out’. DM does the Juranovic deal anyway, Bankier greets to DD, DD tells DM that Ange answers to DM and DM answers to IB and IB answers to DD, and to get with the program. DM rails against that and chucks it.

Also From Kerryfail:

“Graham Spiers podcast with Alisson McConnell and Hary Brady was interesting. Main points:

DD got rid of McKay because he couldn't take to him, seemingly on a personal level. (Shareholder with 34% calling all the shots again)

McKay struggled with the football 'world' of agents and negotiations over the summer ( did we expect anything different coming from a rugby background and does this not just highlight it shouldve been a DOF/Head of recruitment doing this anyway).

After Midjityland and Ange's comments DD became much more hands on. Ange was allowed to have his agent do most of the deals hence the late flurry of players. (Anyone know who Ange's agent is)

This was only possible because Ange is very close to DD and basically has a direct line to him.

A shake up at board level is expected as board is seen as too male and stale.

Overall, if this is the club getting 'their' side of the story out re McKay. I find the way he has been treated shocking and the reasons for his binning pretty weak at best.”

If the last part is true it's funny. McKay isn't a daft man and probably came in with fresh ideas that don't sit well with their Board.

Desmonds son could be their next CE easily.

When we were rubbish, I hated blaming the ref/opposition for not trying or my personal favourite ‘lack of effort from the players’ excuses. Nonsense every last one of them. The biggest issue is lack of ability. As a club and support Celtic fans are very weak in this regard. There were no sending offs for anyone yesterday - the closest was definitely the guy who halved Kent. That could have been regarded as dangerous play.
As far the Sun… Callum Davidson acknowledged that it was a stonewaller and his defender made a mistake by going to ground. He clearly takes Kent’s standing foot away. Once again, ridiculous reporting, influenced by external factors around our media policy. It’s getting really tiresome. All they need to do is report the truth.

They are back to being world beaters again it would seem. Which is nice for them. Be interesting to see how they fair on the Livi astroturf next weekend. Livi are struggling this season but that pitch is a leveller.
They have played 3 of the 4 bottom clubs all at the knew camp teams they should be beating playing any of the top 6 & they struggle as us & Hearts have proved & they seem to play at the knew camp nearly every week but the fixtures have been kind to them at the start of the season , do you think that has anything to do with having a rebuild under way & giving new players time to bed in .

Angeball burst already?

BTW Michael Stewart basically said on Sportscene last night that Kent's penalty was soft but he can see why Collum gave it...he's the most bitter lady's front bottom in Scotland.
It wasn't soft. It was a stonewaller.
But in the words of a very learned scholar (It might have been me:))) It wasn't by the way, before anyone jumps on me for plagiarism.:D

"A soft boiled egg is still a boiled egg".

The Sun now saying the same thing.

Apparently our penalty was soft and we should have had 2 red cards…….

Where to actually start with that. It’s one thing having some demented moon howlers saying that in a Celtic forum…..but then having it in print from supposedly professional impartial journalists is another

Apparently Morelos' madness could have easily seen him sent off. You could not make it up.

The Gers scorer was suddenly nose to nose with an angry Craig before Morelos then steamed in and appeared to make contact with the Saints midfielder who crashed to the ground.

Players from both sides piled in and there was jostling as ref Collum tried to calm things.

Morelos’ madness could easily have seen him dismissed but once more there was leniency from the man in the middle – a booking for the Colombian and the same for Roofe, Craig and Shaun Rooney.

That's sinister. Clearly trying to make out he gets off with murder & hoping the refs are harsher on him with cards. He didn't even do anything other than run up & square up to the boy which happens several times in every game.

Exactly. ‘appeared to make contact’ becomes ‘Morelos madness’ in the next paragraph.
Setting an agenda or what?

Desperate stuff

Embarrassed for the bitter rabid penning that one-eyed guff

ONLY CLICK THE BOTTOM ONE!

They're now claiming we cheated against St Johnstone because we brought our own footballs and dotted them around the edge of the park so we could get the game restarted quicker when it goes out of play.

I'm not even joking.

Didn't realky work. Probably the slowest I've ever seen balls come back onto the park.

Our plan failed.

Ssshhhh they don't even know the half of it... these were no ordinary match balls, they are super secret remote controlled balls, see that random dip on Tav's shot *taps side of nose*

Then we should have organised it better. The lack of balls and the wait for it to be returned to play was an absolute embarrassment to senior football 2021.
