They genuinely believe that having no fans in the stadium works against them, as the players don't get the lift that they normally would. Whilst having no fans in the ground works for us, as we are constantly on our players backs and having no fans allows our players to play in a more relaxed mode.

No matter what happens, they will not accept that we are the better team.

Some of the posts on kds even for them are quite something.

They are becoming seriously unwell with the fact we are going to win the league and doing so well in Europe.

They seem to forget we have beat them 3 times in row and it should have been 4.

Only people with serious issues would try and discredit a team making the last 16 2 seasons in a row.

What about this madness? :)):

"Aw gtf with this Sevco praising. Yes they’ve lost 5 out 43 European games but they should arguably have won only 5 out of 43 when you consider it. Look at each game, opposition managers suddenly sacked pre match, random injuries, covid outbreaks, penalties for nothing. If we had that much luck in Europe wed have won the Europa a few times."

Normal service resumes B-D

With regard to their great European victory over Lazio at shark lead last season, from memory Lazio were very near the top of the league in Italy at the time and were pushing for a champions league place at the very least, subsequently their team to play raselik had five regular starters missing.
Yet according to them if they had as much "luck" as us they would have won a European trophy.
That lot permanently reside in a state of insanity.

That's actually spectacular.

We have been extremely lucky in 38 games then going back a few years includong that Covid issue of 2018 and 2019, injuries where teams had to play their youth squads and penalties when we tossed the coin and slipped the envelope to the ref.

They’re total hypocrites. If you bring up the fact that they hold the record for amount on penalties received in a league season (although we might break that record), they’ll point out that the more you play in the opposition box and take shots on target, the more often you’ll have a chance of a penalty if not a goal. And they‘re right. So why aren’t they applying the same reasoning here?
Out of interest, what is that record and how many have we had?

B, E, A, utiful.

You have to wonder in their mindset how they justify Kent's goal. Was that build up in play just because we were lucky?

Or Alfie's goal when Kent closed down. Was it because that defender is the worst in the world and none of their defenders have ever made a mistake under pressure?
The first goal was a late Christmas present. “Still getting presents in February ffs”. Totally ignoring how well Alfie took the goal. You’d think the goalie chucked it in the net.

Just when you think there is some sort of sense developing over there, FF's favourite Adam Smith replies to that post with this belter.

Surely 2 points per game would be 86 over 43 games?

Adam smith is the guy who does the finances on there.
clueless on numbers and football. Well in Adam.
Unless he’s deliberately trolling them of course. :)

As you say, Gauche, no mention of the five missing Lazio players, and yet when we played a supposedly Covid riddled Antwerp side in the first leg, we were told the Belgians could only field about two regular first team players.

According to the line-ups below from Tottenham's away tie last year and our own game over there, five players started both games - De Laet, Seck, Hongla, Gerkens and Refaelov. If you add, Miyoshi and Gelin who started v Spurs and were subs against us, and vice versa with Buta, the total creeps up. Add Verstraete who appeared as a sub in both ties then the total of players who played in both games is nine. That's a far cry from the image the media and the other mob were portraying.

They’ve had a lot more luck than us. That’s the only reason they won the European cup.

Lazio rested players in every group game as the league was their priority. They lost four matches in the group including defeats to both Rennes and Cluj. There was genuine talk of Celtic actually winning the tournament after they topped that group, one of their players mentioned it and it was discussed in the media. This further highlights their arrogance and delusion. They came crashing back down to earth when Copenhagen pumped them in the next round.

Most certainly, for some reason Lille didn't seem to care when the played them but they conceded the most goals ever by a team in the group phase.

How they ever ended up as top seeds is laughable and they keep going on about Lazio all the time, Forster had another world class performance at Parkhead in that game and Lazio gifted them the winner in Rome.

Fair enough they still beat them and thru were both good results but to follow that up with getting pumped rotten off Copenhagen means nothing.

From 3 mins 30 seconds in just brilliant.

defending that would make even Shane Duffy blush

I honestly believe this is one of the main problems with that club. Hubristic, smart arsedness, full of shyte, naive, bullshit like that. Their managers and players always come out with crap like that, have done for years. They always end up embarrassing themselves.
they have absolutely no humility or dignity in themselves. It’s why they take any crash so hard and can’t give anyone credit for anything.

They genuinely lap all that stuff up. Forever cheated and victimised. Going to be a long way back for them. They never change, they never learn. They are still stuck in the 19th century.
