Unfortunately it's still breathing
Hope he gets the blood out of his tap before his wedding

I work with someone from Madrid, he said the Tim’s were in the Madrid news for three days cause of the mess they made
The fact that our media did not cover it says all you need to know

I'm sure our media covered a similar situation with us in Barcelona. It was negative PR all the way.

Translation of the article;

Real Madrid has passed over Celtic in the last match of the Champions League group stage. A sonorous 5-1 win that has allowed Carlo Ancelotti's team to finish this initial round of the maximum continental competition as first. However, the players the white team are not the only ones who have swept through where they have passed.

10,000 uncontrolled Scots were expected to arrive in the city of Madrid, of whom only 3,000 had tickets for the match. Those remaining 7,000 had plenty of time to drink, sing, generate riots and fuss and annoy all the citizens of the capital who passed by him.

As usual, the Police have concentrated them in the Plaza Mayor, a spacious, central place that allows an easy and controlled transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu. However, the consequences of your stay have been seen from Tuesday night to Wednesday afternoon.

The garbage has accumulated as rarely seen in this type of regrettable concentrations and it is not common for there to be such a massive displacement as that made by Celtic fans. The most radical ones have caused the greatest discomfort, generating some damage to the terraces of the bars in the area and leaving some amounts of dirt that have attracted a lot of attention.
The complaints of the neighbours of the Plaza Mayor have been numerous in recent hours. Despite the fact that there have been no serious incidents to regret and that the Police have been able to have, as far as possible, the situation controlled, the images that have been seen have caused serious damage to the city of Madrid.

Bags, cans, drinks and everything thrown on the ground, thousands of people completely drunk, singing and celebrating to the limit of their abilities and the constant concern that, at any time, everything could jump through the air. Although there has been no serious damage to regret, this is a situation that should certainly not be repeated.

Some of the comments

“Mayor @AlmeidaPP_, this is how the Plaza Mayor is right now. Are you going to let it turn into another pitched battle tonight and we'll be sorry tomorrow, or are you going to do something this afternoon to prevent it from happening? Facts, not words.”

“Is this the litrona tourism and drunkenness that @MADRID promotes? You are not ashamed of this show of dirt and barbarism in the #PlazaMayor, jewel in the crown and emblematic monument of the city,”

Sounds like they’ve ruined a Town square get together for every other travelling support, must have been head and shoulders the worst away support they’ve had to accommodate when you think of all the English and German fans who have visited over the years

See all of their, if we had taken our chances bollox and daft Tam's "we wudduv hud twulv points" pish?
They seem to have forgotten or are using their trusted "deny, deflect & forget all about it" approach to the barrowload of chances their opponents also created and missed.

It appears that in the world of Timmy, their opponents Real, Leipzig and Shakhtar only created 15 chances between the three of them and amazingly scored from every single one: which i do admit is impressive,

Don’t know if posted in another thread, but after the VAR handball decision yesterday against Celtic, Tom Boyd has actually stated that referees should ignore the rules of the game (ie when they go against Celtic).

“It’s time like this the referees should ignore the rules”

No wonder they didn’t want VAR.

This response was 100% guaranteed! give it another couple of weeks and the VAR referees will be terrified to give a decision against them unless it’s 100% stuck on obvious.

Just an extension of the ’Celtic way’ and how they control referees by putting pressure on them via their home and professional lives.

Maybe the folk on here who were saying VAR would be corrupt and against us can see that there is no hiding place for cheating now.
The decision the refs were scared, and to an extent still are, to give against them are now being done so through VAR.
This is is why the Dhims are raging over VAR.

All i can say to that is : "Welcome to a level playing field Timmy."

The way their fans go on, you would think they've never won anything and been cheated in every single game played.

I know we are all biased watching our teams, but they are way beyond that.
I think it’s because they have got so much hatred for us, the thought of us winning the league or winning anything is just too much and too painful for them. They are utterly consumed by hate and obsessed by us. That’s why we see this absolute craziness on a daily basis.
It showed in the 55 season that when we do get ahead of them they implode as they can’t handle it.
