some of the HnH subscribers may recall that the tactics talk covered a chance at motherwell - and the winner at Rugby park has close similarities - same CD pairing albeit different LB/LM ,


interesting that the players werent sharper on this instance as no one would doubt this was spoken about at first team coaching sessions .
 
There's not really much to learn. One cb goes and attacks the ball and one drops off.

Neither did it adequately on this occasion and it resulted in a goal. It happens.
 
Should both centre backs he picking up men then at least one of the full backs should have been covering round. Unless we had lost our shape.
